Very biased Kenichi review. I watched Kenichi and felt nothing of what you describe. The purpose of a review is to tell the reader what to expect and not how much he will like it.
And anyway, it is an average shonen. How on Earth can a shonen be a masterpiece? Even FMAB is rather Seinen.
