Don't really agree with what you said about the characters (minus Sengoku), but I'm glad you enjoyed the show none the less.
As far as Tsubasa cat goes, it really only is four episodes as the one titled part 2 has nothing to do with the arc as it focuses on the date between Araragi and Crab.
