Ecchi....No mate i am hardly into ecchi, these kind of animes are more focused on fanservice and less on storyline !!!
and after a couple of episodes those pan*y shots start to turn you off when are supposed to turn you on!!!!
even if you take a look at my anime list, you wold hardly find a single ecchi anime there. Of course exceptions are there and i do want to watch a couple of ecchi animes which have stood out among their genre.
i won't mind watching animes like Gantz which have a bit of ecchi material but not to mention everything else is also pretty good xD.
i am more into Shounen !!

Indeed it is damn good.
although for some reason i didn't enjoy the original FMA series even though it has got such a huge fan following and not to mention the high rating it has got here on MAL.
Brotherhood is different though, every week i highly look forward to the new episode.
plus everything about it is just....ummm....Perfect ! :)

we do share loads of anime and i haven't even added TTGL and samura champloo to my list or else it(anime compatibility that is) would have been even higher xD
