Paranormal activity has been extremely hyped, but is really good for the sort of 'hand-held-camera' sort of horror movie. It goes where the Blair Witch Project couldn't and Cloverfield tried [I hate both of those movies XD]. It also has some really awesome effects for a really cheaply done movie - there was actual screams in the cinema, which I haven't had in a long while.
I have seen 5 centimeters per second - I thought it was pretty awesome, though I prefer 'The place promised in our Early Days'

Hehehehe, Monster is one of the most amazing things I've seen. Seriously. No matter what it does wrong , it will still get a 10. Lots of people on the boards have compared it to Death Note because of how it studies the corruption of people and what power does etc. Well, I loved Death Note - it was one of the first animes that made me think afterwards - and in my opinon Monster absolutely tramples it. I don't understand why more people haven't watched it O_O
Things are okay, workload at uni has finally kicked in. Two 2000 word+ essays due in soon. Looks like I'm going to be analysing English culture and historical significance over the Christmas holidays...which will be fun ¬_¬. Plus side I suppose is more anime will have been released when I return \o/
How about you? How was 'This is it'? Oh, and have you seen 'Paranormal Activity'?

well, i do have an emergency stash of box sets and books that i dont watch/read until I'm home. It comes in handy.
I can't believe MJ died, I was still half asleep when I found out and thought I dreamed it. XDD. Are you going to see 'This is It'?
I have not, I think it's probably on the cards after Blood+

Blood+ is indeedly great, just the thing to get into after months of no anime ;~;. I think I actually preferred Saya in Blood the Last Vampire, but that's just me XDD

First and foremost, Mark Buehrle is a legend for pitching a perfect game.
I got your msn or whatever invite, so that's set up.
And finally. The best show so far is definitely Saiunkoku Monogatari.
Oh wait, that's not this season. Let's see. The funniest by far is Weiss Survive (although Bakemonogatari ep 3 might take the cake). Good for a laugh and each episode is just 2 minutes.
Most emotional goes to Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. Umineko is awesome and has the potential to be the best by far.
But I have to give the award to Haruhi 2. Everybody seems to hate the Endless Eight arc, but I'm god damn entranced. My mind has been blown. And Mr. Haruhi Creator/Ex-KyoAni employee can blow himself for apologizing to the fans about it. Maybe there's a reason you don't work there anymore, hotshot.
