well, i do have an emergency stash of box sets and books that i dont watch/read until I'm home. It comes in handy.
I can't believe MJ died, I was still half asleep when I found out and thought I dreamed it. XDD. Are you going to see 'This is It'?
I have not, I think it's probably on the cards after Blood+

Blood+ is indeedly great, just the thing to get into after months of no anime ;~;. I think I actually preferred Saya in Blood the Last Vampire, but that's just me XDD

First and foremost, Mark Buehrle is a legend for pitching a perfect game.
I got your msn or whatever invite, so that's set up.
And finally. The best show so far is definitely Saiunkoku Monogatari.
Oh wait, that's not this season. Let's see. The funniest by far is Weiss Survive (although Bakemonogatari ep 3 might take the cake). Good for a laugh and each episode is just 2 minutes.
Most emotional goes to Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. Umineko is awesome and has the potential to be the best by far.
But I have to give the award to Haruhi 2. Everybody seems to hate the Endless Eight arc, but I'm god damn entranced. My mind has been blown. And Mr. Haruhi Creator/Ex-KyoAni employee can blow himself for apologizing to the fans about it. Maybe there's a reason you don't work there anymore, hotshot.

If nothing else, it was worth watching Toaru Majutsu no Index so that I could watch Index-tan.
I'm also starting to think Haruhi's going to overtake my top favorites spot, if it ends up as profound as I imagine it will.

I'll probably do a blog post on my thoughts for the summer shows in a couple weeks, after I've seen them all. But generally it looks promising. Right now I can tell you that you should watch Umi Monogatari. It's like Aria with mermaids.

I just thought of something - Mnemosyne is a pretty sweet show if you want to watch it. The ending isn't too good but the rest of the show is kick ass.
Also, Umineko has a mega all-star voice cast. Lord almighty.

And yay that you checked out Kawasaki's work! I'm glad you liked her stuff. I can't help but find her paintings intensely void of emotion, but she definitely has a spectacular technique. Real inspiring. wood > canvas <___<! Thanks a lot for checking her out. :) And yes, definitely would be worth the buy! I'd love to own some of her work, as well. Too expensive for me though XD so it would probably be a while before I even buy a print. u.u
