Yup. *thumbs up*

I am still struggling with the eternal battle that is convincing my sister to watch IHYV. Somehow, she doesn't like Lee Jong Suk. (Ouch!) I tried to convince her that Lee Bo Young from God's Gift is in it! The killer from Let's Eat is in it! Two actors from Emergency Couple are in it! Plus one popular actor that I really don't like too much but is agreeably good at acting is in it! Episode one is great, but episode two is where it all starts!
Plus, it's a law, crime, rom-com, mystery, psychological kick! Talk about a craze!
I even got her to download the first episode. But because she's a rom-com snob (Even with God's Gift) she is still flip-flopping on watching it.
Oh, what movies did you watch and how were they?

Recently my sister coaxed me to watch Disney's Frozen.
"But c'mon..." I groaned, "I already saw all the spoilers on tumblr and I'm sick of seeing it."
But she made me watch this infamously popular movie anyways. Although they sing too much (Disney always sings, you know? But this had at least two songs more than usual, and one was completely unnecessary) it wasn't bad. Too short, and not enough character development, but it had a lot of good points too.
So guess what? I don't watch popular stuff too much so Frozen was kind of like some sort of milestone.
*shiny pose*

I went back to Harvest Moon: A New Beginning as I begin to save my pennies in order to buy Square Enix's new RPG, Bravely Default. It's insanely popular and I finished the demo. I like Squeenix's RPGs, so...oh, d-don't worry, it won't take up very much of my manga money as I found it for cheap online...

Cunning Single Lady IS cliche, but so far it isn't too bad...so far. There's about 10 episodes out right now so once I catch up I'll give you a more in-depth review.

Good idea. Oh, so Fashion King hasn't been subbed yet? Well, neither has Blood Boiling Youth, which is Lee Jong Suk's newest movie that came out around January or was it early February? Either way.
DragonCactus Apr 1, 2014 8:43 AM
Oh, so we can agree with that. Except for me it's just my dad; my mom is totally chill mostly. She still worries, but she doesn't think we're going to be eaten alive, as long as we are careful and keep our wits about us. Well, it's not like my life ever ended because I couldn't sleep over, and my friends could still sleep over at my place so it was all good, although I kind of wish I had at least asked to go to a few events...

Hey, nothing is as rock solid cool as owning a couple of sharks. Sure, they can't be guard pets, but they're still pretty darn cool. Who cares if they look like sharks or not? Next, she should adopt a komodo dragon.
I need to search for a job. I mean, they would love me! I have an extremely flexible schedule. Anytime, anyplace, you need me, I'm there! Just call 1-800-NEED-IZ. That's 1-800-NEED-IZ.
*informercial end*

Hah...I've been reading the Noragami manga in preparation to watch the anime. And I've been watching the Liar Game live action drama adaption, and I'm extremely conflicted because I absolutely hate what they did to a few aspects but the rest is cool.

God's Gift ends on episode 16, and it's about 9 or 10 eps right now. I've watched up to 8 right now and ohhh boy, what do I even say. JUST CATCH THE GUY! WHO IS HE ANYWAY?! And tell your kid to stop wandering around everywhere!
And hey, you just need to watch one of those awesome psychological shows that just keep one going and going.

I also suck at accents, so comrades! But yes, you know what I'm currently going through.
"Okay class, what's the nosotros form of 'hablar'?"
"...Hablamos..."
"Very good! Now what's the usted form of--"
That's basically it. Verb conjugations are the worst! She goes way too fast for me, and I'm the type that can't really think while someone else is talking.

I'm extremely overprotective of my OLDER sister. And whenever she would come home from school saying what some guy or girl had done to her, I'd get a lot more upset than she would! You don't dare mess with my family or friends.

Bridal Mask...sigh. Episode 8. Boy, I'd love to get faster on this too. I'm about three episodes from the end of 7GCS. It really is mediocre.
Oh, but I started making progress on King of Baking Kim Tak Gu. Gee, I thought this was going to be a cute drama about baking bread! What's up with all this conspiracy and violence? Yeesh...not bad though. I'm on episode 9 but moving very quickly. Joo Won appears as a snotty little rich brat. Boy is he good at this type of role! Since he was like this is 7GCS too.
DragonCactus Mar 18, 2014 9:36 AM
Hahah! Not bad, but I just inboxed you the REAL plot. The protagonist is a jailbird thief, and he's very sarcastic but he's not necessarily a bad guy despite being, you know, a criminal.

MR. BRAIN IS WORTH REWATCHING. I already rewatched I Hear Your Voice and Good Doctor, so...and I'm officially halfway through 7th Grade Civil Servant with 10 episodes done. How is You Who Came From The Stars? I only watched episode one so...

Yeah. A lot of hipsters hate popular shows just because they are popular. Goong is based on a manwha too, which my sister is reading. For example, a lot of people hate Lee Bo Young, and I bet some of it is because she's so popular. Another part of it may just be her roles, but there's really no need to be so nasty just because you don't like someone's acting.

Haha. My mom shouts "Caramba" a lot, but my dad doesn't because he very rarely gets frustrated. He's a quiet guy.
I did finally tame that mean, blue-hearted monster--it's called the Death Wall and it's actually a giant blue head of ice that can shapeshift into things like a hammer or sword to attack people. SO COOL--NO PUN INTENDED.
*facepalm*
I haven't bought Ocarina of Time yet--I rented it from the library--but you can still be proud of me because I actually do plan to buy it!

Haha yeah. I completed Let's Eat as it just finished airing, so that makes a total of 9 completed dramas. Not very much, but it's a start. My current 'upcoming' dramas to start include Code Blue season 2, Gokusen season 2, a tentative try of Cunning Single Lady, and two 'free shots' (choose whatever you want Iz.)

Okay! So I'm ten episodes into 7GCS. It's king of slapstick at times and then kind of serious. It's had some genuinely funny moments, but maybe it's just because I don't like the main pairing very much. The side characters are clever and several of them are cool. Joo Won has good acting; but I don't like his character very much. The show is a little dragged out. It's not bad, but not fantastic. I'd give it a 6.5 so far if I could, as it was enjoyable in some areas. However, if you're watching it just for Joo Won you should probably start running in the opposite direction. I liked a couple of the other actors and I will look them up.

DragonCactus Mar 18, 2014 9:18 AM
I dunno why, but whenever I asked my parents (well, my dad) to go somewhere, he usually said no. Eventually I just stopped asking and assumed a 'no' for everything and told all my friends that I most likely couldn't go to anything whatsoever. Eventually it was my mom that helped me start going to more things as I got older.
YES! You should totally send me a picture of that hedgehog; I really want to see it.

Haha yeah. I love jellyfish, and I actually have no idea how to buy one. That's where Google comes in...
Whoa! Well, we better darned be able to own jellyfish is we can own mini sharks! Hey, how are they? Are they cool?
Ahem...it seems that jellyfish are very high maintenance, but I was expecting that. They must has circular or cylindrical tanks with no corners to prevent damage to their tentacles. Huh. Interesting.
Some knowledge of water chemistry--what?! I may need some help with that one...
Must be fed several times a day...okay...water temperature must be checked a lot...uh...hmm...it's a bad idea to go out of town and leave your jellyfish behind...err...
Oh! Well it doesn't seem that hard. Apparently the water can be checked weekly without any real damage and there's no need to go overboard. It just sounds expensive! But I just might be able to do it. Jellyfish need more love, y'know.

It's okay! I re-read Liar Game and Miriam, and caught up with Koe no Katachi this week, so my manga quota has been filled.

IT'S COOL DARNIT. Fascinating indeed, buuut--if you watched Mr. Brain, you'd understand--it's cool. Just being able to slyly trick someone into--even if you may or may not have been initially wrong--admitting their guilt is coolness in action.
I watched up to episode 4 of God's Gift now. A character appeared that reminded me of the main criminal from I Hear Your Voice, and I told my sister that. True to my word, he WAS a criminal, plus a serial killer to boot. I am so good. (These aren't spoilers, by the way, it's a fairly obvious show.)
I like Lee Bo Young's acting. So far the show is pretty good, and pretty sad.

I can read a lot of Spanish, thanks. Just don't ask me to speak much. I don't know if you've ever taken a Spanish class, but it's pretty much:
"Sabe usted con quien yo estudio?"
"Si, yo se con quien usted se estudia."
"Abuelita, tu tiene unos dientes tan grandes!"
Who cares who you study with?! And yeah, I just inserted Red Riding Hood in there...heh.

Hahaha--you do seem like you would like my dad a lot. Hey, I like my dad a lot too! I may seem like I'm complaining about him, but I actually appreciate how overprotective and stuff he was/IS with me and my sister. I don't get his or, most likely your, humor sometimes.

I WOULD. Look, if Bridal Mask was HALF as easy to download as 7th Grade Civil Servant, I'd be done with it already!
DragonCactus Mar 13, 2014 10:14 AM
It's in the future, but it's in an alternate universe. Almost all the characters are royalty from a mash-up of different kingdoms, and basically they are attempting to assassinate this queen. It's a little complicated, but I tried my best to make each character completely and utterly weird.
Okay, I'd like some feedback on my writing anyways--I'm just too embarrassed to show my family. I tried to show my dad once, but he never looked at it. Well, he's busy, after all. I think he works too much though.

You sound very picky lately. Meanwhile, I've been diving into anything and everything. There are still so many that I want to watch too! But I'll probably just chill and rewatch Mr. Brain while also watching 7th Grade Civil Servant.

Unlike my manga, though, I don't have shelves piled with glittering drama DVDs. Oh, gosh I wish though. My sister have bought some drama DVDs though, for these series:
Goong
The Heirs
To The Beautiful You
Panda and Hedgehog
Coffee Prince
Poseidon
Royal Family
...All of them except for Goong and TTBY she hasn't watched yet though. She got them for the actors, not the stories.

Haha...I shout the strangest things while gaming. Just yesterday my mother walked in on my yelling, "Why won't you eat this ice cream! You jerk! Ice cream hater! Your heart is bluer than the wall!"
(I...was trying to tame a boss in Rune Factory 4. End of story: when I stopped yelling, I succeeded.)
Yeah, I started one Zelda game. A bunch of kids were really annoying me, this jerk blocked my path until he forced me to buy a sword, and then I helped this kid smash rocks but he wouldn't let me smash the one he was holding; goodness, why does Link live with these people.

Maybe I just saw that advertisement spread with Park Si On and Dr. Cha being all lovey-dovey and that's what clinched it for me.

I wish I could recommend you something from my favorites, but my only favorites right now are IHYV, Good Doctor, and Mr. Brain. Two K-dramas and one J.

Joo Won is good as usual in 7GCS but the show itself is pretty average. I'm only on episode 4, but so far Joo Won's character is just starting to stop being a jerk and the heroine is finally not being so tsun! Joo Won hasn't had to use any of the emotion he had to in Bridal Mask or Good Doctor. So far, he's just been smirking.
So, wait and see. It's very easy to download so I'll finish it quickly.

DragonCactus Mar 13, 2014 9:56 AM
Hey, I didn't have THAT many close friends! Even if I did have them, I wasn't allowed to go out very much as a child. It wasn't until later in my life, like about two years before we moved, that I was able to go out to my friend's houses more. Even then, it wasn't a *lot* until the final year.
A HEDGEHOG! Aren't they so cute? Please tell me about it. Like its name and stuff. I think hedgehogs are adorable.
Hmm? So you want to know what I'd adopt if it wasn't a cat? Okay. A jellyfish.
In elementary school, I fell in love with jellyfish. I even did my science research report on jellyfish! I looked up and printed out lots of cool pictures from the internet and all my classmates were impressed. You can keep jellyfish in a fish tank. Sure, you can't really cuddle them, but watching them swim around is very cool. I'd probably get one.
...Great, now I WANT one! I wonder how much they cost, and if they even sell them in Oregon.

I just now started reading manga again, but as for anime, well--hohoho. I'll leave it at that. I haven't even touched the newer Magi chapters out of fear (laziness) but I'll get back to them soon enough.

Nonononono--it's cool. Like, COOL. After watching a skillful expert unravel the inner complex workings of someone's mind--man! So awesome! I even tried to check out some psychology books at the library but all the ones I could find were about anxiety or by Sigmund Freud.
I'm going to watch God's Gift episodes 3 and 4 with my sister tomorrow and Saturday. Episode 2 ended at a cliffhanger, so I'm excited to see how she goes back in time. Lee Bo Young may be added to my favorite actor list with this work.

I speak in Spanish to my Colombian relatives. My parents speak in a mixture of Spanish and English at home and to us. I can understand Spanish, it's just my brain is stubborn and won't let me speak it very well.
Um...let's see here...Yo quiero comer sopa. That's pretty much all I say in Spanish anymore--stuff related to food. I'll say it in Spanish to score extra points with my parents. My mom, though, because my dad would just laugh at me.
(Not because of my Spanish, but my utterly thick gringa accent!)

Guh. I'm about to start the Akumu Chan J-drama. I read the plot and was fascinated, and then I heard Gackt was in it! I'll see how it goes. Bridal Mask IS my priority, by the way.
DragonCactus Mar 11, 2014 1:27 PM
Uh...hmm. It's set in an alternate universe in the future. It's not as technological as the world we live in, although the layout is similar, but it is a few years in the future. I'll have to see if I can email you something if I ever get out of this overwhelming sense of embarrassment at the very thought.
And hey! My jokes aren't THAT bad!
...Maybe.

I'm watching Dream High too!
*gasp*
Um...I was halfway through episode 1 before I was distracted by something else. I'm more interested in School 2013 since Lee Jong Suk is in it, and you know how I am about my favorite actors...I'm also watching 7th Grade Civil Servant for Joo Won. The character he plays is kind of annoying...but so far it's okay.

*coughs*
Wh-what do you mean? My love for manga hasn't waned, it's just been put aside. Rather than it dropping, it's just...standing by? Yeah.
HUH? Okay, so it's not like my FAVORITE 3DS game (I'm not sure what is. Probably an RPG.) but it's not something you'll find at a 'very low price' for a long time since the RF franchise is very popular. It's a Harvest Moon RPG after all.
I like HM a lot too, a new game recently came out in Japan in February. I even own one game for the 3DS!
...No one else that I talk to owns either game and I'm going crazy because I want to talk about it to somebody. For now, it's just my sister. She's entertained; because I'm currently going for a very tsundere character in both games. She doesn't own Harvest Moon but she did buy the same Rune Factory game I did.

He was so cool. I love it when bad guys turn good!
What? I knew Park Si On was going to end up with Dr. Cha from the beginning. They just radiated those 'main pairing vibes'. And I was rooting for Dr. Han and his fiancee to repair their relationship! Glad it all worked out well. My favorite patients were either the wild girl or the girl who was stabbed...both were exciting cases.

I Hear Your Voice isn't too sad, actually. There are about...two major plot points that are sad. The rest are just "dramatic". It's a story of a serial killer seeking revenge after the woman who testified at his trial, and the son of the man he killed trying to stop him.
Plus, LEE JONG SUK and LEE BO YOUNG are in it. Of course it would be great. Episode 1 is good because it contains the whole backstory, but Episode 2 is when the series really kicks off.

I tried to download more Bridal Mask at the library today but the wi-fi sucked today. So I'm just downloading more 7th Grade Civil Servant to watch. My favorite part of this series so far is the poker match, it was just cool. Though I forgot all my poker terminology; I'll have to re-read the Liar Game manga. Speaking of which, Liar Game has at least two seasons of a drama adaption...
DragonCactus Mar 4, 2014 9:47 AM
Look here, buster--err, sir--all my friends have lived in houses, so it's not like I've never ever been in one. In fact, one of them I've been to over 50 times, and the other close to that if not more. But I like the comfy smallness of an apartment. If I end up not getting married then I'll just adopt a cat and we'll just chill in a tiny little apartment together. Plus since apartments are in complexes, I think it's just a little bit harder to commit a crime like robbery in one. Just a little.

Don't start losing faith in me!
*looks over shoulder*
O-okay, here's the deal--and I''m only saying it once, so listen up. I...was so confused, I was wondering if Aladdin was speaking a foreign language. In fact, it was so bad that I kinda swept past several pages to see if he'd start making sense. He didn't.
Excuse: I was running on less than 5 hours of sleep.
Excuse: I don't really recall the chapter very much so I could be exaggerating.
Excuse: Aladdin's a strange child anyways--who knows what he's thinking?
Excuse: Hey look, it's raining outside!

Oh...so I guess you're not interested in finally seeing Morgiana's magic tool in action? To see Sinbad literately possess someone? To see Ali Baba get made fun of even more? Well, gee, I guess I'll just have to...
*shuffles away dramatically*

Haha! He did say that a lot, right? It was thanks to him that I learned how to say, "quickly!" in Korean.

I love silly comedies! BUT...I equally love squealing "that was SO cool!" and I do that a lot with psychologicals.
Plus *and here comes the advertisements* many psychological, like Mr. Brain, have a lot of comedy in them, and can juggle that with the serious tone of the show. I mean, I Hear Your Voice was also like that. It's a psychological drama, but it's a comedy too.
And take series like Crime Squad! Even with a 80% serious story, it can still squeeze in at least a joke every once in a while.
When I was a child, I dreamed of joining the law force but later abstained upon upping my overall INT.
I love shows that are comedies and that are psychologicals...so those that are BOTH thrill me greatly.
*huff puff*
The lady from I Hear Your Voice is currently starring in the time-traveling drama God's Gift--14 Days, which looks GREAT---and Lee Jong Suk will soon star in a MEDICAL DRAMA. So I could advertise all day!

Hey, I use words like swell a lot! I love language, it's so cool. I can be eloquent if I try.
Not yet, but I agree with you about watching something--anything, really. Like maybe I can convince you to try Let's Go! Dream Team even if you gave me a mid thumbs up with that one.

...Huh? Oh, sorry, I just hit my head on the desk just now.
*rant gears start warming up again*
J-Dramas do that, but remember that a lot of them are based on manga or anime to begin with! I need to get around to Liar Game and Kurosagi eventually, and I expect very good things from them.
There will bad adaptions in every scope, let's not be too hasty about it! Mmm...Japanese dramas certainly have something...different about them. Gokusen was extremely cheesy and very anime-in-drama-form, but it wasn't bad. I'd say series like Code Blue and Mr. Brain, maybe even Galileo, are closer to a 'standard' J drama.
I'd say there's most likely a LOT like that but you need to have a very good eye and very good luck to find the J dramas that really matter.
*close*

*ahem*
I repeat: DOWNLOADING IS SO HARD.
Look, with my library's wifi, I can get half an episode in one day, with maybe five episodes in my queue. This is slow going.
DragonCactus Mar 4, 2014 9:24 AM
The best jokes I've ever told are lame little word puns that sometimes my sister laughs at when she's too tired to know better. And my stories are as eccentric as I am, almost always told in first-person with dry humor and strange characters. The one I'm working on right now has 90% of the cast a king, queen, or some member of royalty! Though the protagonist is just a thief...haha.
I always tell my self that with cards, you have to swipe the black line thingy, but then somehow I always get it backwards.
"Other way, honey," says the cashier.
Thankfully, I use a debit card, which sucks my cash right out of my account, so I don't need any pins, or else I'd be in far worse trouble trying to recall my pin.
"You sure this is your card, honey?"
Haha...I can overcome awkwardness mostly once I become friends with a person. But strangers? I call my self "Cardboard Iz." Because cardboard isn't good at talking and has no manners when nervous...plus it's stiff and isn't good wet. Very much like me!

I'M feeling pretty great since I just finished TWO dramas--Gokusen (season 1 out of 3) and To The Beautiful You. Now I can start Legal High (FINALLY! I've been waiting for this!) Obstetrics and Gynecology Doctors (it took me a while to learn to spell that right) and Mop Girl! Whoo hoo!
*poses*
So...you want, like, a comedy? *scans mental list*
I just started Miss Korea, and I'm only ten minutes into it, so I can't comment on that too much, same with City Hall. Let's Eat is kind of corny sometimes, and...later on, it gives me some serious I Hear Your Voice vibes. Maybe start another historical comedy, like Rooftop Prince?

Hohoho. My manga is all very much loved by me, even if I often skip volumes due to unavailability.
If you're talking about the 3DS Miracle Mask Professor Layton game, then yes, I got that a few months ago. If you're talking about the newer Azran Legacy game, then no, not quite yet.
But THIS game happens to be Rune Factory 4--Rune Factory is a spin-off Harvest Moon, which is a very popular farming game in which you also marry people. Rune Factory 4 is an RPG with some farming and marrying, as well as order-giving, as well.
I like Harvest Moon and Rune Factory 4 is good. 'Good' translates to 'I like it so much I spend my whole afternoon playing it'.

Ooh, I live near an airport too! High five!
Here, my city is pretty, too--but perhaps nothing special compared to where you live.

*nods enthusiastically while reading paragraph*
Right? Good Doctor was so emotional and so cool! And I love how Go Choong Man became a nice(r) guy towards the end, even if he only ever got the lesser half of the Popsicle. I like it when antagonists like him become good guys, it's just great.
I loved the concept of the series--I was also sad when I reached the final episode.

I wish I could GET ON YOUR LEVEL! but there's a tricky little problem--I CAN'T. I just stuff as much as I can in my cute little iPod screen and wrap myself in my blanket burrito in bed, propping my iPod up against my purse, and grin to myself as I watch stuff.
Just recently in Let's Eat, a guy from the IHYV cast made an appearance as a killer *and he was good at it* and I said to my sister, "wow! So...if you like creepy serial killers stalking people, you should TOTALLY watch I Hear Your Voice."
Unfortunately, my sister replied, "WHY WOULD I LIKE IT?!" but I still think she'll watch it eventually.
DragonCactus Feb 25, 2014 9:48 AM
UHhhhhHhhhHHHHhhh...has there ever been a character like me...
*snort*
I'll try a description then.
Basically I'm kind of sarcastic but I can't really detect any sarcasm directed at me, which aggravates my sister to no end. I'm very cheerful...and I usually don't talk all that much, but if it's something I'm interested in, I just GAB for hours, which...also aggravates my sister. I have what some people call a 'bleeding heart' so I'm maybe too sympathetic, and...
I can't tell good jokes...
Oh! I can entertain myself for hours just staring off into space. My dad thinks I just play my 3DS all day (which is a good theory) but often I just pass hours doing absolutely nothing than just...thinking. Daydreaming. This is usually how I'd get ideas for all the stories I write.
I was very outgoing in school, but then something got sucked out me when I was home schooled and now I'm very socially awkward, shy, and stammer a lot.
Seriously.
I swipe my card the wrong way at cash registers! The cashier laughs at me!
I'm also very affectionate; I love glomping people. That's the *closest* thing to kawaii but I'm kinda too awkward to do that.

No, they switch bodies after visiting a suspicious place. This was a pretty good arc, but they switch back after a while. Secret Garden isn't at all bad, but most of their fights is all the dude's fault.
And--whoa, that mockful laugh was SUPER villainous just now. I saw on your PTW that you have You who Came from the Stars, and I'm watching that now, so HA--but then again, you'll probably finish that before me too.
Right now, I REALLY want to finish Crime Squad and Bridal Mask.

What do I do with my manga? Well--
*tears open delivery package*
*tosses wrapping over shoulder*
*jumps into bed*
*reads book once quickly, then once more for real*
*chuckles to self*
*gets up*
*puts book in shelf*
*admires how great it looks*
...Pretty much it. Actually, I immediately throw away the wrapping since I am OCD about random stuff like trash in the room, but otherwise, a very accurate statement.
And I've already plugged almost 30 hours into this game! I only watched Mr. Brain while playing this.

I've BEEN to Chicago.
*dunnn*
Well...it was just for a day. We drove their in order to get to the airport in order to fly to Colombia a few years back. I was gaping at all the buildings and stuff--I've never lived in a major city before, here in Portland is the closest I've ever gotten.
Ah, well it was two days since we DID fly back, haha. Our hotel was next to a casino.
*laughs*
I see that you already ARE watching Good Doctor! So?

Okay. I have a few more episodes of Bridal Mask downloaded, so I'll try to download more. Man, this show is so cool. I wish there were more that dealt with this time period...Basketball is the only other one I can think of.

Are you kidding? He originally said TWO days, but I used my expert bargaining skills to gain myself an extra day. I love my dad, but he's the most stubborn man in the world!
Haha! I can reply on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, so no worries. I purposely set it up so I can be here so that it looks like I'm rarely gone.

Rooftop Prince looks good, I just can't find it anywhere to download, and this app takes quite a while to download a few episodes.
I'm on Bridal Mask ep 04.
When Gaksital's identity was revealed, you should have been there in the room with me, it was awesome. Personally, I'm glad they revealed it so early, because otherwise it might have gotten rap for being a cheesy plot twist.
DragonCactus Feb 25, 2014 9:19 AM
Hey, due to all this moving I did, I got enough EXP that my 'Apartment Know-how' aka 'APT INT' leveled up several times over the course of my life! My favorite thing about apartments is...I dunno. I just really like 'em.

Aw, but conspiracy theories are just so much fun! While it's true I'm not big on political matters (unless it's presidential assassinations like Lincoln's and such) conspiracy theories are really interesting.

Magi isn't confusing until Aladdin talks about Solomon. Maybe it's because I read it too fast or whatever, but so far that was the only case.
ONLY CASE, YOU HEAR ME.
Ali Baba seemed like he would grow up but then some of his crew members (Crew members? What are you saying, Iz? Well...read it and see! Hohoho.) told him that Morgiana liked him (lol) and that ended kind of...
...bad...
So Ali Baba's gotten a little sorry, Morgiana's still cool, and Aladdin's a bit more of a serious fellow. You know that arc with the magic school and stuff.
That arc spawns into a closely related arc that involves a Fanalis army and two more Magi! It got a little chaotic, but...the Fanalis have already been animated, and they look great. Even though I've only seen gifs...

Yes, I am taking Spanish! I haven't really learned much other than brushing up on my verb conjugation and things like that. Picky things. My worst problem is not grammar but remembering exactly what the words are! I'll understand them if they are said to me, but when it's my turn to talk, my mind goes blank! Arrgh...

I really want to take psychology. The fact that I marathoned the short Japanese drama Mr. Brain (8 eps) proved it. It's a psychological crime drama that has a lot of fun facts about the brain and stuff and I watched it all very quickly. Now it's been added to my favorites.
I've been into psychology since I was quite young, though, and I'd really like to take a class or read a book about it.

Pfft. Minho's a swell guy, plus he's...swell. I liked his role in To the Beautiful You, but his role in Medical Top Team was a bit...sad.
We should watch Running Man, as I still haven't gotten around to it! I need to see what variety shows BEAST and ZE:A have been on...oh, and TVXQ. A dude from TVXQ is on the 4-ep minidrama Mimi and my sister couldn't believe I didn't recognize him.
So...I'm trying to 'learn' how to recognize TVXQ...seeing as they're popular and all...

I just fell in love with the main actor from Mr. Brain, and actually, in episode 2 the Japanses idol Gackt (voice donor for vocaloid Gakupo) appeared as a creepy villain and was...good at it. He's good at acting, and I thought he only did voice acting...

D-don't implode! It just takes a while for me to watch stuff since DOWNLOADING IS SO HARD.

*ahem!*
Well, that may be true for many apartments, but you can jump around all you want provided you live on the first floor--OR, like us, in a townhouse. A townhouse is a small apartments divided into a few (usually two or three) floors and all that space is completely yours, your neighbors are only on the sides, not above or below.
And geez, OUR neighbors have NO qualms about playing loud music, no matter what time it is.

I was always interested in things like unsolved crimes, mysterious diseases, odd cultural customs, and world mysteries. The it also grew into strange animals, plants and creatures--like the lovely giant isopod.

Currently, Aladdin is...hmm? What IS Aladdin right now? He's...kind of like...
"I can show you the world--"
Oh, wrong--well not really. He just kind of started talking about Solomon and some deep, dark secret or something.
This sounds confusing because it IS confusing, plus there's been a lot of Ali Baba lately and not enough Morgiana if you ask me although she was approached by the Fanalis dude who worked with Schezerhade.

RIGHT? Kind of like that girl from Gurren Lagan being like 15, when she's already a flippin' Lara Croft! But at least by now Mor is about 16 since the story has grown...older. I like seinen better too, actually.

I'm taking Spanish...haha. And Keyboarding. If you go online to the website, you can select which classes, which electives, you want to take, and then they'll ship you the DVDs for those classes. My mom has picked them all out for me so far but seeing as next year is my senior year I'm determined to choose them myself.
I have to ugh...take Chemistry...

I likes BEAST. The leader's on Let's Eat, but I actually didn't recognize him until later (later=my sister pointed it out). EXO in dramas...nup, although Suho made a cameo on Prime Minister and I for about three episodes.

Oh, Hello Counselor? I've seen about 30 or so episodes of it myself. I first started with the ZE:A and f(x) episodes, but then the SHINee and the ones with some EXO members as well. Then BEAST and Teen Top appeared, and so I just said "oh, heck" and watched all that was on Youtube.
Guys can have biases! There's always members I'm not interested in either...my favorite EXO member happens to be Xiumin, which means that apparently I like guys who don't get much spotlight, since the same applies to BEAST's leader and Kwanghee from ZE:A.
Minho may not be particularly good at singing, but he's good at sports (Dream Team star) and I like him because he's nice. Oh, and he was in the To The Beautiful You drama, which I'm almost done with...
A YouTube downloader? REALLY? I'll get it, but a little later. After I peel some of these dramas off my forehead. I do want to watch Running Man though.

*looks up Secretly, Greatly*
Whoa, this actually looks cool! I watch a series or movie for the plot, and if I like any actors in it, go from there. I recognize this Park Ki Woong guy from Bridal Mask, and since you really like him, I'll have to see what else he's in.

Hmm, Friday? I'll have to see what I can do about that, what with my strange schedule and all. Let me know by Thurday, if you can.

Hah! Apartment Benefit #45: You don't have no driveways to clean, and no lawns to mow either!

What? *shudders* Okay, if I did that, my sister might try to exorcise something inside of me, because that is WAY too out of character. I'm not really sure how my personality it in description but I can't say that it's very...cute.

I'm like on episode 17 of Secret Garden. The best arc was where they switched bodies, and the rest is fine, not great, not terrible, and very...dramatic...?
I'M WATCHING BRIDAL MASK TOO. I thought we should watch something at the same time...and plus, Joo Won is the main character!
*poses*
So, yeah. I finished episode 2 last night. And may I say, wow. So many plot twists already! This show is so cool.

I recently got some lemonade from my local Costco that's pretty sour. I doubt you'd like it, but my sister would. I like it, but the problem is that it just makes me more thirsty since it's tart.

I'm watching Bridal Mask, Mr. Brain, and Crime Squad all at once at the moment. Prosecutor Princess and Secret Garden are on hold. Let's Eat and Emergency Couple are still ongoing, so it's okay.
It takes up a lot of hours, and I don't have that much time left as I'm buying a video game tomorrow!
Magi volume four arrived last Thursday, too--in which Morgiana beats up the slave trade group, and flings Ali Baba at Aladdin in Balbadd. Also, Kassim. Good volume.

Haha, I know--what hospital REALLY has all this drama, unless it's in Detroit or Chicago? Certainly not in Korea...but who knows.
I'm glad you like Joo Won too, his acting in Good Doctor captured me so I immediately added all his other roles to my 'to watch' list. Like I'm on episode 4 of King of Baking, but he hasn't appeared yet (there's a pretty long back story arc with them as kids) but since Joo Won won a few awards for his role in Good Doctor I'm sure you'll enjoy that one a lot.
Bridal Mask is going to get sad? I figured. I'm already cringing at the end of episode two, what about at the final episode, twenty-eight?

Haha, it's back, my tech whiz dad fixed it. Now, he made me make a schedule for computer time (he said it broke due to 'abuse') so I'll be on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Which means I have to scramble to download as much as I can!
I've been putting some serious hours into my lovely 3DS in the meantime though.

My mother has a Galaxy but I don't look at it much and we don't have a tablet so I can't complain. I'm just glad to have SOMETHING. I plan to watch Rooftop Prince soon, but I decided to start only after completing a total of four series in addition to the tree I have already completed.
I've never eaten porridge, really, and it's not so bad because you know me--it's kind of hard to dent my mood.
I gasp out loud a lot. I even talk to myself.
"What?!"
"You did not just do that!"
"No--put that down! DON'T LOOK IN IT!"
....Geez. All these drama people doing the exact opposite of what they should!
DragonCactus Feb 13, 2014 9:33 AM
Now that I'm reminded, if you liked the choreography for Everybody, you should watch the MV for Catch Me by TVXQ. It was choreographed by the same person--actually, he's done a lot of TVXQ, but Catch Me is what came to mind just now.

I actually kinda like living in apartments. I'll probably live in one for the rest of my life...unless I get married or something. I dunno. I try not to think that far ahead because I don't think enough about right now. Mostly I'm just daydreaming. I can entertain myself for hours with just my own thoughts.

Oh! Remote islands are very fascinating, aren't they? Hopefully those 56 people get along well! We might be able to geek out randomly over similar things. I like strange and unusual things. Like...deep sea fish and world mysteries and things like that. Deep sea fish are so weird-lookin'. There's also things called giant isopods that are literally just giant sea pillbugs.

Yeah, true, BUT there's a difference:
Other young anime protagonists: "FRIENDSHIP IS AWESOME LET'S GO RIDE OFF INTO THE SUNSET TOGETHER!!!!!"
Aladdin: "Ali Baba is my friend." And occasionally: "Ali Baba is my friend!"

Hehe, sometimes my strange way of talking can rub off on people. Just ask my sister!
Um...but yeah, it was at the comic extra of Magi volume four that the ages are revealed of the trio, in which Aladdin is 10, Mor is 14, and Ali Baba is 17. Though now in the story he's past 18.

My sister took Sociology too, and told me some similar stories. Uwah, some of those things are so scary! And to think that similar stupid things are going on today. Although a lot of constitutes of beating up on those who can't fight back as well, which infuriates me.

Oh, so you like SHINee! Awesome! Maybe you should check out a little of EXO now, eh? Like Wolf or Growl, those songs might be your type!
My favorite from SHINee is Minho not for his vocals (he's working on those) but because he's a nice guy. My sister's favorite is Onew (the leader) and yeah, Jonghyun is great at the vocals. Key used to be better at them...
I could've sworn all of them were on Running Man once! Or was it Let's Go! Dream Team? I'm pretty sure Jonghyun's been on Dream Team too...but mostly Minho...EXO and many other people have been on Dream Team. Even if I don't know any of the guests, I love watching it. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble downloading Running Man...

BRIDAL MASK?!
*gasp!*
I've wanted to watch that so much! Joo Won, a top favorite actor of mine, plays the main role! Plus, it sounds interesting. If you like him in there, you need to watch Good Doctor, okay? Because Joo Won got awards for his role in that show. Bridal Mask and Good Doctor were two of his most highly acclaimed roles, so...

Going off actors you like is a GREAT way to go, so have fun with that. Meanwhile, I think I just succeeded in convincing my sister to watch I Hear Your Voice after already convincing her to watch Let's Eat, which she liked.
I watched it (Let's Eat) and was startled to find the leader from the group BEAST, Doo Joon, as a main role. I like BEAST a fair amount, and he was a surprisingly good actor.
Even more surprising was Feeldog from Big Star appearing--but I only recognize him from Dream Team.

Okay. I'm not very good with technology, but I'll do my best! I'll look into this Google Plus thing and we can watch something together sometime! I've always wanted to do this sort of thing, anyways.

Nooo problem. Over here, it suddenly snowed and, Oregon, not being used to this, had a lot come to screeching halt at the 5+ days of snow. My sister got 3 days off from work, and the cities today issued an announcement asking people not to go out today!
Whoa....
It’s time to ditch the text file.
