Next up I am going to give you two recommendations which I believe make Zakuro look like pedestrian fare.
#1 Gosick. I have the first two light novels, I promise this will be solid, I love episode one, I just watched it...Victorique will be giving Saber a run for her money.
#2 Puella Magi Madoka Magica. I can count all the magical girl anime I've seen on one finger...Nanatsuiro Drops...This new Magical Girl show just crossed my Radar an hour ago, and this is my verdict....Go find episode 1 as soon as you are through with Gosick 1... I started to tear up during the transformation scene at the end, it was so beautiful. I hate to admit it, but Gosick's got a strong contender in this one.
