Oh god, during the summer, I was up to a season or even two a day. Waking up at 12, watching a couple, then playing on my PC all day, then watch like 10 more until 4 in the morning. But during school days, it's 2-3 usually, at the very end of the day. I've been watching like 10 a day this last weekend, now I have two projects to take care of by Tuesday. ;~; I have almost no time for anything.
I understand you with the OVAs, I'm exactly like that. I watch almost no OVAs unless I really enjoyed the anime. The Little Busters OVA is definitely worth your time. I cried on the Saya arc, not so much on the Sa-sa-sa-sa-what?-segawa arc and Kanata. They do get more fleshed out though, to fill the gap the anime left out from the visual novel.
Yeah, it did look kinda awkward. There are few fanarts that surpass the original artist's character art. I'm really open to a bunch of fanart though, since 80% of my posts are fan art.
It's been quite a while since I've seen Little Busters, so I don't remember how she sounded. But I can totally relate to Rin's social awkwardness when meeting new people haha. It was really awesome to watch Komari "tame" her and eventually become best friends.
Anyway, since it's Valentine's Day, I've been posting my top few OTPs. They aren't getting much love though, since everyone basically spams their OTPs around Valentine's and mine just get crowded out. It's been an hour since I posted Tomoya x Nagisa, no notes yet ;~;
I'm one of the few who thinks Tomoya and Nagisa were the best together.
Edit: And in general, my OTP posts have been getting generally less activity than my regular ones. Maybe I should ditch the quotes.
I adore Refrain. It's my favorite anime, and I think nothing I'll watch in the future can impact me as much as Refrain did.
I originally stayed away from anime because my friends were showing me dubbed anime. I guess I instinctively disliked dubbed anime, because when I tried my first subbed animu, the characters and the plot became so much easier to understand. And subs can usually convey a lot more emotions than dubs can, simply because it's the original.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy Refrain, and enjoy the ride! I shed many tears.
You can save much more than 100 pics within 30 minutes, uhuhu. Combined with hotkeys for picture saving (with categories), I was basically a content saving machine. That was summer, however. If only I had the time now, I'd be putting up a lot more. Refinding the source for every picture isn't fun hehe.
As with Tumblr, it was the same situation. One of my friends hates tumblr, mostly because of the extreme feminism and stupid hipster posts, like you said. "Tumblr is Satan's right buttcheek!" I found that to be somewhat true, so I strictly follow anime-only blogs. I see Tumblr more as another content platform rather than a social platform. I do have a regret about tumblr though, which was that I should have put more thought into the name of my blog. It wasn't meant to be a serious thing in the first place, so I set it to mytacosareyummy on a whim. Most people wouldn't expect it to be a Key blog.
My first anime was Chobits, recommended to me by my best friend around the last week of school during finals to keep me sane. It was a light hearted and comedic, and still had good feels. Then he recommended Clannad, but I was reluctant to watch it so soon. I gave Air a try, and after shedding tears for the first time in several years, I knew I had to give Clannad a try. After Clannad, I really became a different person (true with most people I know). I was never an emotional person, but Key anime opened me up more than anything else could. Most of all, it helped me make friends with people I'd never talk to in the first place.
Also, don't tell me what to do. Your senpai is mine. Resistance is futile.
Haha, thanks man. It really helps. I've been so busy the last couple of weeks so I haven't been able to post that much. I've only really been able to do quick reblogs in between classes >.> As a result, my activity dropped 500 notes on average weekly ;~;
It's strange to me, I never expected to have such a passionate follower, nor that I'd even go over 10 followers XD I was completely new to tumblr around October, and I had this giant anime pic collection sitting on my computer. I recently got into anime during spring 2014 (right before finals), and somehow by the end of summer, I accumulated 10,000+ anime pictures onto my drive in 3 months (half of which were Key). So, I randomly started posting my pics, probably just to see if I would get any followers at all. And I did. totallyclannadic does reblogs of my stuff time to time, tbh I owe half of my followers to him.
Again, thanks for the support, it's awesome that I'm able to meet someone through tumblr like this. Let's be good friends!
