Good points on your SAO review, though I feel you're being a bit too generous on the story rating. The synopsis was very misleading so the show never got to the main point while the writers tried to cram every genre under the sun and out came this disastrous monstrosity that is SAO plot.
Welcome to MAL! After watching SAO I really felt like you on that, there's so much wasted potential going on. But hey, there are other good trapped in a virtual game world animes out there, such as Log Horizon. In fact, I'd recommend you watch it.
