What! legendoflink and I need to have a chat about this "way better" stuff. I think the original show is just as good, but it's a bit darker.
And im not sure why, but the reason for the different storylines is because the creator of the manga asked for the original to be altered. maybe he just wanted to play around with the story some. Crazy writers.

It's been a very long time. I watched it when it was first coming out. It was so hard to wait a week between every episode.
Have you ever seen the original FMA? It's different, but it's great!
