I like Haiyore! Nyaruko-San, nice low priority story show that is funny. Didn't have that high expectations for it cause of how bad the previous versions scored.
You are the fourth or fifth person TODAY to suggest Angel Beats. It's clearly the hot one on everyone's list! As soon as I finish this season of Gundam 00 I'm going to watch that one.
Do you have other 'heartwarming' anime you'd recommend besides Clannad? Or what is it about Clannad that you love so much? Try and convince me to change my mind. :D
Hahahaha. I haaaate Clannad. Though I guess I'm going to have to give it another try because you are hardly the first to recommend it. I watched about three episodes and was like, SNORE and dropped it. I should wait til I'm PMSing and more sensitive. :P
Gintama does a great job of keeping it's spirit over the whole of the series. I'm only partway in but I've read enough from others that I know that to be true. It's definitely designed to be a comedy. There isn't enough content without it. My favorite thing is how they break the fourth wall on a consistent basis. I love that.
I can't do any anime at only one episode at a time. I have to do at least a season at a time if not an arc. Needless to say, I don't watch many airing animes. I tend to wait until they finish or until they finish an arc. I'm just too impatient to wait between episodes. LoL.
I haven't heard of ANY of those but I'll have to check them out. Yes, I like heartfelt animes. Not exclusively; I have a pretty wide range of taste. But yes, I like those also. Were you thinking of any in particular?
Does that make us Gintabros? LoL. I read that somewhere on a review or article about Gintama and thought it was so funny. Gintabros. Yeah, Gintama is the SHIZ!! I love it. So freakin funny. There are times I'm just gasping for air with tears running down my cheeks from laughing so hard. And then they can go and be all touching too!! Really a fabulous show.
Right now I'm taking a break from it, having just finished their 3-episode Takasugi arc. Don't get me started on "Three episodes does not an arc make!!!!" rant cuz I was disappointed to say the least. Here they had Takasugi in the end credits for like 10 episodes and then give me a 3 episode arc? >.< Not cool. Hehe.
With the longer series I tend to take breaks between arcs and watch other animes and then come back to it. Right now I'm watching Gundam 00 which I thought was the first in the Gundam series and was wrong but don't mind at all because it's so good!! I'm on S2 having blown through S1 in less than 24 hours, lol. It's been awhile since I've watched a really gripping anime and I'm loving it.
