I think ADV was the only one to release and un-cut version of Macross for the USA, and they used Mari Ijima for the voice on Minmay in thew new dub. I'm really curious to watch that version.
Right now I'm watching it again, with the original version. Then onwards to Macross 7.
I checked out the original Macross because of Macross Frontier, and it is like 10X more enjoyable if you know the entire Macross history <3
I saw Twins, but it was a bit disappointing compared to Teacher. I was glad that they showed some of the old cast during some episodes, and once again the male protagonist was way more likeable than regular romance anime (I really liked Kei too). But the whole "we could be related!" was dragged on waaaayyy too long, would've been nice to find out earlier and see how he develops a relationship with one girl.
