Hey there sailor. I'm overly critical about shows and everyone hates me for it.
My rating system is as follows:
10 (Superb/SS Tier)- A masterpiece. Something that will surely stick with me forever. Reserved for the best of the best that sets in the bar in every category. Most likely deeply resonated with me on a personal level.
9 (Amazing/S Tier)- Excels at what it tries to do. I may have a small complaint here and there, but nonetheless it's quality shines through.
8 (Excellent/A Tier)- Entertaining. I'm not as enamored in the characters as I would be with a 9 or 10.
7 (Great/B Tier)- Enjoyable though it fell apart in a few aspects. The good certainly eclipses the bad in this scenario, but I probably wasn't able to immerse myself in the world or characters as much. Overall, it was solid.
6 (Good/C Tier)- My enjoyment is varied. It has a fair mix of both good and bad. I feel that it could have done a lot more to be better, but it had a few aspects that put it above the Ok rating. I could still potentially recommend a show at this rating.
5 (Ok/D Tier)- Merely mediocre. Nothing really standout here. Any positives aren’t enough to outweigh the negatives, leading to an “Eh.” feeling on the show overall.
4 (Poor/F+ Tier)- Bad with above-average visuals.
3 (Terrible/F Tier)- Bad with passable or dreadful visuals.
2 (Atrocious/F- Tier)- Laughably bad. Grab some popcorn.
1 (Send Help/E Tier)- So bad that I actually took personal offense to it. Hopefully we never see the day wherein this is the case.
