hey there, I'm the guy you recommended Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl Senpai no Yume wo Minai and the sequel movie to in the secret santa thing. Just wanted to thank you for your time and to let you know I really liked it. The series was great and it shares the "mystery of the week" vibe with Bakemonogatari, that I like, but it has too much weird loli ecchi and other stuff that made me stop watching it for now, so Bunny Girl hit a nice balance of what I like in Monogatari and what I look for in a anime in general. Another nice part of it that I've been hearing a lot about since the anime was still airing is how different of a MC Sakuta is. It is absolutely true. The guy is a really interesting take on a school slice of life type of main character, really refreshing and one of my new favorite characters of all time. All that said, the movie is on a whole different level. What an awesome one and a half hour. Definitely one of the best things I've ever seen, I just don't really like the ending, with the happiest scenario possible, I think it really takes away from the really heavy moral dilemma built in the movie, and it don't really make sense if you think about it, since Sakuta and Shouko's meeting is what allowed him to meet everyone in the future and took him out of depression, and for all they show, Shouko just made her future form never appear to Sakuta. The rest of the movie is just about perfect, so I guess I'm just nitpicking. This anime for me was one of those you have in the bottom of your mind thinking "I'm gonna watch this sometime" and just never actually watch it, so I really doubt I would ever watch it if it wasn't for your recommendation, so thanks.
