I have to agree with you there. I'm feeling the episodes are all unrelated. In the manga they were arcs that flowed into one another, but they mixed some of them up in the anime and added things that don't make it as fluid, it's like everything's completely unrelated and as of right now the series feels like it's going nowhere. D: Ah but yes! I remember Lau doing that now. I distinctly remember saying out loud, "diosksdlskskle?' or something along those lines, since it was somewhat of a shock to learn he was epic. Ranmao is the Chinese girl that's always with him, by the way.

Right? I understand WHY they're all speaking Japanese, I mean, if they spoke different languages not everyone in Japan would understand them, I'm sure, so it makes sense. But at the same time with the story it's kind of a bit weird, just because they get rid of all of the Japanese culture yet it seems like the entire world has magically decided to speak their language for some reason. I did try watching the English dub, but Lelouch's voice was terrible and I couldn't stand it.

It took me a while to think of Elizatbeth that way, just because the rest of the characters are either almost adults or most definitely adults and Ciel, the closest to her age is so super srs business maturity all the time. xD Hmm yeah, I know what you mean about that. So many series have multiple seasons or 100+ episodes that don't seem to deserve it and a lot of series that do deserve it end at 26 episodes or so, it's quite disappointing. D:

I haven't watched Special A yet, though I plan on it. Maybe I'll like him more if I watch more anime that he voice acts in. :3 Oh and I might be planning on watching Gintama, just...so many episodes, but I probably will watch it eventually, it looks very good and I've heard good things about it.

Well looking at our shared anime, we share a fair amount and you've obviously seen a lot more than me. But one series I'd have to reccomend is .hack//SIGN, it's really either you hate it or love it and it moves pretty slow at first, but it's very good in my opinion. :3 Anywho, yeah I agree. It seems like so many good series are out right now or will be coming out, it's not fair, so much to watch! x3

That is true, I didn't even realize that. Maybe he will be of some importance in the anime after all. I've read as far as the manga goes so far (or at least as far as it's scanlated, same difference), but it's been a while since I read that far back, honestly. I do know he did something but I can't remember what. I think, actually, I'll reread some of it later tonight (I'm in school right now, so probably not the ideal time to be reading manga) because now that I'm thinking I've forgotten a lot of what happened at some points in the manga compared to what happens in the anime. D:

Oh man, well it's better than all the people who assume Pokemon happens in America. But then, some animes are so vague on where they're happening, it's like they don't want to say they're in Japan or America or England or wherever it is that they're at, which just strikes me as weird. I think the anime that confuses me the most with that whole thing is Code Geass, because they're all supposed to not be Japanese at ALL and yet...everyone speaks Japanese. xD

I agree, if she had a different character I wouldn't mind her as much. But she is only, what, 11 or 12? Ciel's amazingly mature for his age with good reason, but Elizabeth is pretty much just acting her age, which is annoying to me in contrast to how mature Ciel is I suppose. Well yeah, action/blood is good, it's just that normally girls in those kinds of anime are like 'o noes teh blood!' and have to be saved by some guy, and I'm not a feminist at all, but it's just not interesting.

Jun Fukuyama...I like him as Lelouch and...he does Grell in Kuroshitsuji I believe, which I like. He's not bad, I guess, but I'm just not a fan of his.

They all sound like pretty reasonable rules to me. I have so many series I'm watching right now, I just need to get through them all and then start doing like you said, only watching a few at a time. I could never not watch animes that are airing though, I kind of just watch based on my interest at the time, so if I'm interested in it, whether it's airing or not, I'll end up watching it as long as I can find it online.

Yeah in the anime they make Lau look like a secondary/comic relief character of no real importance. But in the manga he's pretty much this guy with all these connections that helps Ciel out sometimes, and then he's also comic relief admittedly, what with his 'You can't mean...' and then not even knowing what the person meant. xD It just confused me, I thought Ciel was Japanese for the longest time, but then I realized that really made no sense. >:

Well that too. She has all the typical annoyances of a female character. Whiny, immature, unable to handle things without 'her man,' has ridiculous hair, doesn't care about anyone else (unless you count 'her man')...I'm not a fan of female characters in general, to be honest. x3

Yep, I totally agree, it's hard to get a feel for a fight in a manga, because it just goes panel to panel and might skip entire sequences of the action, which just isn't as fun as seeing it all played out in anime. :D

I know right? Mamoru Miyano is to favorite people what Lelouch Lamperouge is to favorite characters. x3

Ha, well, about Bleach, I'm planning on watching it over the summer. You know, when I have time to start a series that long. I'm the kind of person who can easily get drawn into a series and just wants to keep watching if it's good enough, so for that long of a series I really want to wait. And yeah Hijitsu no Uta was terrible, it used the same animation cut scenes over and over and I just couldn't stand it after one episode. I'm really bad at starting anime I plan to watch though, I've decided to try and finish most the ones I'm watching before I start any more of them because I don't want to have a bunch that I'm at episode 2 or 3 of forever, which seems to happen to me a LOT. x3

I know right? I like him so much better in the manga, he actually does stuff rather than just being annoying as he is in the anime. Although it confuses me because I don't know if he's Chinese or...I don't know. I'm really bad with guessing that stuff in Kuroshitsuji, since they're all English but speak Japanese... |:

Seriously, that's just how I am. If I really like an anime and want to see more of the story I'll go ahead and read the manga. Sometimes I like romance mangas because (at least the kind I read) they rarely have action in them and the slower pace is better to see the relationship developing. But anything involving a lot of fights is hard for me to read as a manga.

I didn't even know Mamoru Miyano was as popular as he is! D: I think he's amazing though, he has such an emotional voice and he does so many characters I love. o Ao

I know it sounds weird, but I saw you posting on the Kuroshitsuji forums about how they're leaving Lau's awesomeness out of the anime. And I totally agree, he's so much cooler in the manga, it's pissing me off how they're leaving stuff out. |:
