10 – Classic: This anime will be remembered for years to come. These shows are of the highest quality and represent the pinnacle of anime as a medium. You simply need to see them.
Note: The border between a 9 and a 10 is a real grey area but can be differentiated by the lasting impact the show has. A 9 is something that should be recognized while a 10 is something truly enjoyed through and through.
9 – Extraordinary: This anime is one of the best of its genre. These anime might have one or two issues but are completely forgiven due to the quality of the show. They are truly inspired works and are must watches.
8 – Excellent: This anime is a great work within its genre. These anime might have one or two issues but contain great ideas and are highly recommended.
7 – Good: This anime is good within its genre. These anime have several issues that keep it from being an 8 but have something that makes them compelling and are enjoyable. I’d recommend it.
6 – Fair: This anime is a fair example of its genre. These anime have some issues but can be enjoyed nonetheless. I’d recommend it on an off day.
5 – Has Potential. This anime passes as an example of its genre. These anime have some blatant issues and probably won't enjoyed by most. They have some enjoyable moments but overall might best be watched when nothing else is available.
4 – Meh. This anime does not do what is required of its genre. These anime fall flat and the lackluster parts of the show overwhelm the enjoyable moments. I’d recommend you skip this show.
3 – Bad. This show is a poor example of its genre. These anime fail to meet the requirements for an enjoyable show and might have one or two enjoyable scenes. I’d recommend you skip this show.
2 – Terrible. This anime is a terrible example of its genre. These anime fail to do even the minimum level of work required to be enjoyable. Please avoid this show.

Series listed as Dropped are shows which I had no interest in past the first episode OR are shows that I simply have no time for in the foreseeable future.
