I enjoy watching anime because most of them are of better quality than most western movies/shows.
I don't read manga, I'm sorry if that offends you, but I just can't, no matter how good or interesting it might be, just sitting there looking at static drawings bores me to death.
I watch anime with the original voice acting, to date I have only found one anime that had a better English voice acting - Air Gear.
I don't watch anime for ecchi, but if it's done with taste and/or the anime is funny enough I like it.
