Even if you want to claim ISIS is not in line with the real Islam, stoning for adultery, death for insulting the prophet and the like are still very mainstream. It's not any mistake that people who believe those things tend towards terrorism. I'll be fine with Islam when it is ruthlessly, repeatedly insulted, and no Muslim riots over it. I'll be fine with it when Muslims are domesticated and worship quietly without bothering anyone. Christianity was domesticated. Unfortunately, looking at their examples, Muhammad doesn't seem quite as receptive to that idea as Jesus.

I usually either pay full attention to the people talking, what they say, what they mean, their intentions, body language, or I'm kind of alienated thinking about others things.

My anime watching record is punctuated, usually the intervals are one or a couple of months. My activity on the forum also fluctuates, though on this I must admit I was never that active to begin with - or at least I've never regarded myself as a regular. I usually go on the forum after having visited MAL to update or search for something. So in the summer I just didn't visit. It's already surprising you knew of me, let alone remember I hadn't been here ahahah.
I can understand that. People expect you to progress the conversation... At least in this kind of platforms you have time to be creative, to think of what you want to say and ways of progressing the conversation instead of leaving the atmosphere uncomfortable. It's particularly good for people who have a harder time to follow a fast rythm. Introverts need more time to look inside themselves before disclosing what they think, I certainly agree on that point. That and many times the topic just doesn't interest me. :P
