I don't know why everyone is so harsh on the dude, sure, at the beginning of Yugioh DM there was hardly any difference between Yugi and Atem but later he starts getting better and some differences could be made between Yugi and Atem.

I guess it's no surprise why his only roles are for Yu-Gi-Oh. I guess after they had him in Duel Monsters they thought it was better to keep him rather then change the VA while the show was already airing. I'm disappointed though since the season 0 VA was much better and there's hardly any difference between this guys Yugi and Pharaoh voice. I hate 4kids, but at least they made Pharaoh sound cool.

Completely agree with Psajdak and Nightfoxx. After watching Megumi Ogata as Yugi (Light and Dark - Pharaoh's name isn't mentioned) in Season 0, I was disappointed to have what sounded like some punk mumble-yelling words in a very boring, monotonous way. This guy needs to learn to act. His Pharaoh Atem sounds just like Yugi, just meaner. I'd like to see Kazama in some other roles so I can at least give him a second chance because he doesn't have a bad voice per say - he's just not so good at using it. Well, I only just started DM so hopefully his acting will improve, especially where Atem is concerned.

Yesterday I finished watching first Yu-Gi-Oh! series with Megumi Ogata as Yugi / Atem.
And then I heard this guy in first YGO! Duel Monsters episode...
What a waste, it's just too painful to hear him.
If Ogata really couldn't reprised her role in new series, they could at least choose Romi Paku, or Mitsuki Saiga.

His voice as Yami is scary! I remember when I watched the last episode of GX and he dueled Judai, I ran away from the computer. Megumi ogata voice is way sexier than this guy but he does a good job.
