They are both about the same person. Cantarella is more of a fantasy, while Cesare is purely historical.

Both are tragic shoujo manga. Though the main character of Cantarella (Cesara) grows up while the one from God Child (Cain) does not, they are both surrounded by tragic incidents, not always things they can avoid. Both were cursed by their father and their name bear a meaning. Both have someone to support them most of the way.

While Baraou no Souretsu takes place in England during the Wars of the Roses, Cantarella'story depicts the Borgia'struggle around the same time in Italy. - Both stories takes place in the mid XVI century and present European political situation with countries engulfed in civil wars. - Both main characters are associated to sadly notorious real person, Richard III and Cesare Borgia. In these stories, their darkness is rehaussed by the use of the fantastique genre which associate both characters with demons and/or monsters. - Characters were cursed at birth and born physically different from other people, but shines above everyone else thanks to their mind skills. - Feelings, love,  read more

-Firstly, both are historical mangas based on people that really existed. -Both Main Characters have sisters. -Both Main Characters are androgynous. -Both mangas have something to do with religion. -Both mangas are supernatural and have a dark plot. -Both Main Characters are in some way separated from their sisters. -Both Main Chafracters are good with sword. Personally, I find these two mangas very similar. If you read Cantarella, you should definitely consider reading Le Chevalier D'Eon or vice versa.

It's by the same mangaka. I only just started reading 'Cantarella', but some of the genres are the same as 'Lost Angel'. Anyway, I just think that whoever enjoyed reading 'Lost Angel' will like 'Cantarella' as well. :D

Intrigue, scandal, plots, and mysticism in Renaissance Italy!

Both have similar vibes: - Dark ambiance and gothic artwork. -A pair of siblings with a very close relationship (almost incestuous). -The main guy is hated by his father because of a prophecy. -The main guy is considered "evil". - Tragic events take place.
