Manga: Gintama
The kind of humor in both series is the same. One of the most obvious differences between the series is the fact that sexy commando's artwork is somewhat lacking, on the other hand, this seems to enhance the effect of the humor in this series. The composition of the main parties are somewhat the same, with one of the character's personality bordering on plain ridiculous, another one which points out the "inconsistencies" or whatever the main character does as wrong, and a female character which is mainly oblivious to whatever is happening. Not to mention the pet, which looks a bit normal at times, but  read more

Manga: Pyuu to Fuku! Jaguar
Both manga's are from the same author with similar style and terrible (in a good way) jokes. Both deal with stupid idea's being realized and characters you just can't believe that are actually created.

Manga: One Punch-Man
Both of these comedy titles feature and are centered around battles that are won with a single punch. However, in Sexy Commando Gaiden the entire purpose of the secret technique is to catch the opponent off guard enabling anyone to be defeated with a single punch and thus assuring victory, while in One Punch-Man the main character is frustrated because he can't make any fight last longer because of his overwhelming strength.

High school adventures with ridiculously overpowered main characters who are as daft as they are strong both of which are accompanied by a "sane" normal character who is sucked into the insanity. Hilarity ensues.
