Both manga are about Showa era school boys falling in love with each other, although Born to Love You is set in present and is about reencarnation.

The stories are both set in the Taisho era and are about the reunion of childhood/school friends. The protagonists belong to noble families and their love interests are of lower status. And as expected of nobles, there are duties that must be uphold by them such as succeeding their house and marrying someone of appropriate status. The stories tackle about duty and obligation to the family and the family business, debauchery, freedom, arranged marriage, society, and the Great Kanto earthquake.

Summer and Ramune. Marbles from Ramune bottles are used as symbolisms in both stories. You'd definitely want to have some Ramune after reading. And you'd be reminded of these manga whenever you drink Ramune. Tamayura is much heavier and deeper than Ramune no Shalala, though.

Set in the Taishō era. Protagonists struggle with social hierarchy and expectations placed on them by their families.
