Cigarette themed works where MCs seeking comfort from smoking. Biggest differences being 'Cigarette Anthology' contains many different stand-alone stories and the Cigarettes themselves became characters in 'Tabako-chan'. 

Again, collection of one-shot mangas, aimed at more mature audience, and revolving over one major point, in Cigarette it's in the title, while Scientia broadly gives examples of how technology and the advancement of it can help mankind. 

Bartender is a well developed manga, while the other is a one-shot collection, but they both use their theme (for Bartender is the alcohol, in the Anthology - the cigars) to create stories which mostly gravitates towards the human relationships, desires and goals in life. 

Both are a recopilation of one-shot mangas from different mangakas treating and specific subject from different points of view. This kind of work helps you to find new mangakas and art styles.
