Basically similar protagonists that just jumps from girl to girl and is self-destructive in the process because they can't be honest with their feelings. Kanojo Okarishimasu isn't as heavy or realistic, but it is definitely a similar kind of drama. Personally, I find both to be unbearable because of the lack of character development and the frustrating protagonists, but to each their own.

guy with lots of relationship in the past but still dont know how it works. basically the part of life where they try to understand how to do it.

Both have a very dark ambience and themes, present quite the dystopic reality and are about a dude living misadventures with girls. Though I guess Oyasumi Punpun presents these themes a bajillion time better than Soredemo Boku wa Kimi ga Suki, and is just overall WAY better.

They're both about a guy who fail at getting the girl he likes because of misunderstandings and misjudgments of people.

Both series take place over a large chunk of time (15ish years) and show the leads falling in and out of love and relationships and show that it's ok and natural.
