Deadman Wonderland and Psycome have a lot in common with one another. They're both set in a prison-like setting, they both follow a falsely imprisoned protagonist, and they both feature a mysterious female character who is hiding more than she is letting on. Where they differ is in their genres. Deadman Wonderland caters more towards the supernatural crowd, whilst Psycome is more ecchi/harem-based. They both make for enjoyable reading, offering plenty of tense, insane moments throughout.

Although psycome is a light novel, it still harbors the theme an innocent MC inside a school of rampagous criminals. Psycome has a more gruesome approach to the theme and gives off a more harem vibe than criminale!

Both stories involve a character having to adapt to a new and other-worldly environment, complete with insane characters. If you liked the characters of Rin and Len in Bad End Night, you'll like the girls of Psycome! Both are very enjoyable!

The female leads in Sankarea and Psycome want to kill the male leads out of affection. In Sankarea, love turns on the zombie instincts to eat the flesh of the person they have interest in. In Psycome, all emotions are linked to the urge to kill. The stronger the emotion results to a stronger sense to kill.

Harem type situations follow the protagonists, but is it heaven or hell when the harems are filled with psychopaths, murderers, and the criminally insane? Let's also throw in yandere little sisters, what could go wrong?
