similar atmosphere, but with a more fleshed out story and stronger characters and ending

Although the premise is not entirely similar, the setting, the development and the plot twists share a substantial resemblance! Mirai Nikki follows the battle royale recipe with a specific number of people trying to be the last (wo)man standing, but ib follows more the good side versus bad recipe, which in this case involves a specific number of people with certain abilities. However, who defines what good or bad is? The works redefine what you thought was right or wrong pretty often. In both cases, the plot holds many surprises for the reader and some are just crazy and over the top, but enjoyable nonetheless. They  read more

Both Mc's Detest Their Life... And possess almost identical abilities. Both manga's sub plot revolves around the ''world ending '' The Ones to Save it, And The Ones To End it They also deal with psychological Aspects Of Each Character. Most Of Them Have Tragic Backgrounds..and have had to go through Their Fair Share of Struggles.. While the story can be dark at times. IB's Artstyle is prettier and Helps Lift The Mood but at the same time blends with the atmosphere, While Seki's artstyle has a Cruel feeling to it

Did you enjoy Instant Bullet (to some extent)? Then, let me introduce you to another manga by the same author, which is TOTALLY unrelated to anything Instant Bullet has in any way, shape or form! To be serious, as a person who enjoyed Instant Bullet's good mix of drama and comedy (not including angst), you will find more of Akasaka Aka's ability to make the mundane funny and the simple moments emotionally satisfying. Kaguya Wants To Be Confessed To is an ongoing manga by Akasaka and is looking by far to be the author's best work, so you should go read it! It's funny. And hilarious.  read more

It has the same feels. Both have twisted characters. Both display chaotic situations of the world.

If you enjoy watching sheer chaos and madness unfold page after page, both Instant Bullet and Pandora Hearts have it in shades and express it in fairly similar way rather than just going for the graphic killfest, with mentally broken characters and deeper levels of fucked up unveiled as the story goes on.

Both share a heavy tone, with the main plot revolving around the characters' e.g despair and identity crisis and have a tragic/bittersweet ending.

Shounen no Abyss is way darker than Instant bullet i think,in term of people But in both these manga everyone has problems, sad or depressed...anger and problems etc.

Both are action manga that deal heavily with psychological aspects especially for the protagonists. Both protagonists have had to go through their fair share of struggles (and more). However, in Fukashigi Philia, the MC is good (though he sometimes loses control of himself) while in Instant Bullet, the MC is actually the villain (as he refers to himself).

Both series have characters that don't fit into the norm. Instant bullet focuses more on the hardships of its characters while Boku wa Mondai Arimasen shows that being different isn't bad.

similar atmosphere, but it had a slower start

(May contain spoilers) - Themes are very similar in terms of individuals who have the abilities to wreak havoc in a modern day scenario are gathering. - The protagonists (on a personal level) are having psychological breakdowns and battling their own evil tendencies. It is also worth noting that both are using said abilities to achieve evil intentions. - Both protagonists had a terrible experience in their past which plays a major factor in their psychotic behaviors. - Both share a very hidden and mysterious personalities.

Both are dramatic action manga about saving/destroying the world. The main characters both seem powerless at first but eventually discover they have more power than they realized. Both main characters are hiding (in one case they don't even know it themselves) their true nature.
