They're both love stories between two artists with the female being good but sort of a beginner while the male being an "art prodigy" of some sort. They're made by the same mangaka too.

Both feature guys who love their respected interests (swimming and drawing) and have girls who fall for them. The art is also very similar.

24 Colors ~Hatsukoi no Palette~ is similar to Hatsukoi Limited only to that one story with Chikura and Renjou. They both include paintings of cherry blossoms and the male characters are both going to study abroad. 24 Colors has a happy...er ending though.

The main characters in both mangas are interested in something and for this they fall in love with the guy (Hitoribocchi wa Samishikute has more drama archiving it's passion than 24 colors) But I still recommend this two cute love stories. This two mangas have the same feeling to it. The art in both is beautiful (not everyone might agree).

In both mangas have characters that are gifted with artistic skills, and they both have a romantic element

Similarities: - Shoujo romance - About art - Both rather short (16 vs. 5 chapters) - No major drama In both manga, the male main slowly opens up to the female; in 24 Colors, the male protagonist is simply unsociable and doesn't know how to express himself or his feelings very well, while in Suki ni naranai yo, he is a teasing, popular womanizer.

both stories involve art influenced characters. both have a charcter who finds their first love. 24 Colors ~Hatsukoi no Palette~ is more about a love polygon while Pink Lady is about a girl who gets tormented by this guy who keeps telling her that she is bad at drawing

They have the same mangaka and chiba kozue is just one of the best out there. Both stories revolve around the same story line but different plots you just have to check it out.

Since both are from opposing genres, this would most likely work for readers who are shoujo fans and at the same time, are into (or at least can tolerate) boys love and vice versa. Or those who simply like to see artistic characters in what they read regardless of genre for that matter. The similarity lies in both titles having protagonists with a passion for painting and that passion enables them to get closer to their respective love interests. Both are somewhat cliched albeit still charming school life romance manga with pretty and soothing art.

They are both lighthearted stories (which I love)! ♥ They both have lovely and cute art (as these two mangas are by the same mangaka). Also, they both star two girls and two guys, in which, there is romance between the two main ones. They both have comedy as well, and are geared more towards the same audience (shoujo), however, suitable for other audiences as well. The two meet each other through their passions: Nanaka and Chihaya through their love of art, and Miko and Natsu because of their passion in the baking sector. (To be more specific, Miko likes the smell of bakeries, and Natsu likes making  read more
