Ochibure Shinshi ni Ai no Uta (Manga)

This is a very cute yet typical yaoi manga. I said typical because this yaoi is more focusing on the "feelings" and "relationship" of the two, instead of the sex on every single page. It's a good manga to read, if you are "curious-and-is-daring-to-look-at-what-yaoi-is" or is just getting into that "i-like-yaoi-stage".

This Yaoi manga would be rated 16+ and NOT 18+ from my perspective.

STORY
The story is like MOST 16+ yaoi manga's. It focuses more about the relationship and the developing love between the uke and seme, which I find extremely cute. Since it focuses more on relationship and developing love, it has the typical "seme goes over seas for a period of time leaving the uke alone back home", to reflect what they have done after abruptly "breaking up" with their "love". But overall, the story and plot keeps up a good pace, throughout the whole single volume. 8/10

ART
Like most yaoi manga's, the seme is OBVIOUSLY attractive and "seme-looking" despite who is older. But, the art in this manga, i didn't quite like; or maybe I just wasn't used to the style. I got to admit, the facial way this manga is drawn...is too manly for me. Too square for my comfort. It didn't greatly effect the manga in any way, but I just couldn't help but say, "the uke is not that...feminine." 7/10

CHARACTER
The characters where cute in a way. I didn't quite like how they were drawn, but the personalities of each character was amusing. As the story progresses, the feelings of the seme and uke are revealed, and for a person who is a sucker of cute things, would probably wince and squeal with delight. 7/10

ENJOYMENT
I have read other 16+ yaoi manga that is mostly about feelings and relationship buildings, so this plot isn't really new to me. I enjoyed it, but at first I thought it would be a hardcore 18+ yaoi, but after reading the 3 pages of "sex" at the end, I came to a conclusion that it would be 16+, since really NOTHING intense was going on. It was cute; and it was...fluffy. But that is all there is to it. 7/10

OVERALL
It is a good yaoi manga for starters. It has a good story and the feelings and relationship building made it cute and fluffy...Overall I give it a 7/10, JUST because it's so typical and cute. read more
