Full disclosure: I've barely read this manga because there's no full English translation yet. Apparently a couple of different groups have tried to make one, but none of them managed it, near as I can tell.
Based on what was available, it's pretty good. I can see a lot of Franken Fran's DNA in this manga: spooky science lady helps teenagers with sci-fi solutions that always backfire for an ironic lesson. That's where most of my enjoyment came from, to be honest; seeing a similar premise being explored in an older series. It's rough, but very solid, with the stories I read being appropriately gross
...
and weird.
Shijou Yukari is a standout character, despite how little screen time she gets. Unlike Franken Fran, whose atrocities are more driven by her naivety than malice, Yukari seems to know the harm she's causing and gets a sick pleasure out of saying "I told you so" to the bodies of her victims. Not exactly groundbreaking, admittedly, but I was actually interested in her backstory and wanted to learn more about her, which is more than I can say for most horror villains.
The art is fine - the gore and body horror are nice, but some of the characters change proportions from panel to panel. Still, it works for what it is.
In conclusion, while this is a fine manga, due to how hard it is to read in full, I can only recommend it in two scenarios:
1. You can read Japanese and you're willing to hunt for original scans, or
2. You're fine with reading a handful of chapters with a next-to-zero chance of reading an update.
