Both manhwas show very realistic situations that happen to young people. They also portray a wide variety of different characters that deal with different problems. Lastly, they both explore the harsh realities of human relationships.

* Both are by the same author * Both have a unique (and awesome) art style :) * Both are realistic : Salty studio in the way it shows the main character's frustration in trying to follow his dream of becoming an artist, while The stories of those around me is realistic in the way relationships work. * Overall, both somehow have a calming effect (the stories are slow-paced but enjoyable)

Both series are a casual slice-of-life with a gentle feeling. However! Stories of Those Around Me is not sexual in any way.

Two slice of life series with a focus on romance. Bonnouji is about a man living in an apartment filled with stuff from his brother. Story of Someone We Know is a series about three Korean women who are friends -- one's been with her boyfriend for years, the second's been with hers for a shorter time and the third is single.
