Manga: Boukyaku no Sachiko
Both main characters are salarymen types (although Sachiko is a woman). Kodoku no Gourmet showcases real restaurants where the main character eats lunch on business trips whereas Boukyaku no Sachiko has more of a plot and showcases local specialties that help her forget her worries.

Meshinuma follows in the footsteps of Kodoku no Gourmet, with a salaryman who loves food enthusiastically eating. However, KnG shows off real restaurants while Meshinuma highlights more the charm of ubiquitous dishes like katsu curry or donuts.
