Similar beginning about a girl who is looking for a boyfriend, and confess to a random boy even though they never/barely know each other, also with the boy accepting the confession. The manga is also centered on them slowly trying to build their relationship together, with a couple of side character having their own relationship (In HajiOtsu, it's more focused on the main couple). IMO, I think HajiOtsu is better, so try to check BokuHaji first.

These two serialisations feature a romantic relationship between the protagonists that is simple in exuction and light-hearted in tone.

Both of these romantic comedies primarily follow the inception and development of a relationship between the male and female leads. Do note however that Hajimete Datteba features more mature elements than Boku wa Hajikko ga Suki given that the couple is of an older age.
