Both deal with a uke who sleeps with others to get over his love. Deal with a love triangle. Are both BL and yaoi, so both are intended for a more mature audience. Pretty decent reads, if you like one, you'll probably like the other. Kimi wa Amai Amai is a collection of oneshots, whereas Boku was Kimi no Tori ni Naritai isn't.

Both manga feature the complicated lives of a brother and sister, and the sister's boyfriend.

In both mangas the uke falls in love with someone seemingly unattainable. Significantly more sex in KH-Pure. In BwKnTnN the uke is more promiscuous, while in KH-Pure the uke has looked only at the seme.

I thought the drama was the main reason these are similar. The build up drama is delivered nicely with conflict, indifference and common high-school-romance problems, that can be some what disheartening at times. This also has wonderful art - as i like both mangakas equally. If you like yaois with some good drama you will enjoy both.

Yaoi has an awful reputation, but here are two works that I would call beautiful. While they have fairly different settings, both stories are well-done, with heroes you want to cheer for. The supporting cast in both series' are amazingly well-crafted for the genre. I definitely reccomend them both.
