Both deal with a master/servant relationship and the obstacle of social class they have to overcome in order to be together. In Ibara no Okite, the female is a maid and the male is the master, while in Ojousama no Untenshu, the female is the master and the male is a chauffeur. Both are set in historical era's and have beautiful art.

Both are cute shoujo set in the Taisho era with themes about social class. There is a forbidden romance plot in both.

The main protagonists' share the same problem of different social statuses; the lead female character has the role of the young noble lady, whereas the lead male character holds the role of the employee who works under her. Similarly set in the past, but instead of taking place in Japan, this manga takes place in France. Above all else, the art is also lovely! As a one-shot, Soleil was a great read and is definitely recommended by me!

Just what is forbidden love? Is it a type of love that is society unacceptable? Just how would one describe such love? Well it really depends on the couple but surely it is never a smooth road. It may be described as a painful road, but does that necessarily mean unhappiness? If they can get their families and friends to accept them as it is the only way for true happiness, who cares about what strangers think. The heroines share a similar background where they lost their mother, and is in somewhat of a conflict with their father, as they never got the chance to  read more

Both are about a relationship between two childhood friends with an age gap. Ojousama No Utenshu is about a master and servant in the Taisho era. Whereas Taiyou no Ie is more modern and is about a girl who is living with her childhood friend because of family issues. Both have great art and a touching story.

-Both are set in the same Era. -Both are about a noble girl and an older boy with lower status than her(employee). -Both have wonderful artwork.

-Both are in the same Era in Japan. -In both the main girl and boy are from different status. -The protagonist from higher status suffers from a illness/handicap.

Do you enjoy light romance in Taisho Era? HSGT is an old classic shoujo while OnU is a recent work but both have splendid artwork and a plot that centers around a forbidden love between a fierce japanese heiress and a hero that is socially considered of "inferior" position: while in HSGT the hero is of mixed blood, in OnU the hero is an employee. If you liked one, you'll probably enjoy the other, however, keep in mind that HSGT has better developed characters while OnU is a short manga.
