Kimi Note (Manga)

Kimi note is a boys-love manga consisting of four couples spread separately over seven chapters, in one volume.

Chapter 1-4) young school boy, Miyasaka Tomokazu, is strangely attracted by the intoxicating scent of his classmate, Sawatari Yudai. The story’s character backgrounds aren’t detailed enough making it a little confusing and the story is very similar to an earlier published one of the same genre. However, the art is amazingly good and far too cute to say no to read. Rating 6

Chapter 5) Two men, Nishigaki and Yaguchi, loved each other very much in school, but their relationship shattered when Nishigaki went to study at a university very far away. At that time, because the words “I want you to stay” were not spoken a misunderstanding occurred and almost as if it was fate they meet up again at a wedding. I love this story, because it reminds me so much of Sekaiichi Hatsukoi, although, not as good. Rating 9

Chapter 6) Kugayama and Ashiya are school mates, but are they lovers? Kugayama struggles as he tries to understand their relationship. The story is not that original, but all the same it is sweet, short, beautifully ended, and worth reading. Rating 9

Chapter 7) Katsuragi is currently freelancing off Nakano who is madly trying to resist raping Katsuragi. It’s an interesting story with some really funny characters that strangely remind me of some parts in Junjou Romantica. Rating 9

I'd never heard of this manga before today, which is pretty depressing now that i've read it. The volume is split into 4 couples, over the 7 chapters.
Story: 8
1) The first story was so original, and one of the cutest stories i've ever read. There was plenty of comedy which made it seem so sweet, however they do... jump the gun a bit...
2) Another sweet, and pretty original story, slightly reminds me of sekaiichi hatsukoi, but about 20 times better.
3) Not quite as original, but sweet all the same.
4) Pretty darn adorable.

I had a permanent smile on my face. One of the best manga's I've read in a really long time.
