Both are stories about urban legends and phenomenon in a highschool setting, with a female protagonist collecting these stories in a light hearted and comedic way.

Both short series are about paranormal investigations into urban legends and local mysteries.

Tall, lanky, bizarre, manipulative, dominant-personality male with an obsession for mysteries controls young, comparatively weak-willed schoolgirl. The girl is coerced into setting the stage for the mysteries' climax, while the male uses his control over psychology to resolve each situation. The above describes the early premise of both series. The relationship between Yotsuya and Makoto carries the same dynamic as the one between Neuro and Yako. Neuro (series) features supernatural elements as a medium for the character interaction, while Yotsuya (series) uses horror to the same effect. Neuro (series) does eventually increase its supernatural elements and develop more into an action series, but the early chapters  read more

Both are similar in having a teacher that guides it's class in weird ways that ends up being great for comedic effect, with the one difference that szs goes in a path that allows it to explore much more what it's trying to do and allow for funnier gags (I'd also probably recommend great teacher onizuka as well but since i haven't seen or read it yet i won't say much about it, but i think it's also worth giving a try as well)

Both series revolve around urban legends.

Both contain multiple horror stories with morale. Both have good suspense. Yotsuya-senpai may be considered mystery as well.

They both revolve around ghosts not really existing and that they are made up by someone's belief. By setting up scenarios that build up the ghosts the main characters gets rid of the spirits.

Kibengakuha doesn't have anything in common with Bakuman, but it's pretty similar to Detective Trap and PCP. On Kibengakuha mysteries and crimes are solved using horror stories to frighten the criminal and make him confess while on Detective Trap the detective make traps to catch the criminal. On Kibengakuha the horror stories are spread around the school while on PCP they make small "crimes", both of them trying to be anonymous.

Rumors and mysteries laced with the truth? Antagonists hiding behind fox masks? Troubled high school girls seeking for help? Both Tsumitsuki and Kiben Gakuha, Yotsuya-senpai no Kaidan have those elements going for them. However the largest similarity is that the third arc of Yostsuya-senpai resembles Tsumitsuki's over-all plot (be it either the "seed-planting" antagonists who watch their victims do their work or the victims getting "possessed" and acting out of character). Even the characters, Kuroe (Tsumitsuki) and Kudou (Yotsuya-senpai) are quite similar. Over all, if you enjoy eerie stories, a good thrill and liked either of the titles, I'd recommend checking the other one out.
