Humorous manga about living with a cat, with horror aesthetics.

Both are cute manga that portray daily life of living with a cat. If you like cats, you will likely like those two too.

Nekogurui Minako-san is basically what I expect from Ito Junji no Neko Nikki in terms of crazy-ness and creepy vibes that came out every once in a while, Ito Junji Neko somehow is really tame and normal.

Both manga are about cats however, Junji Ito's manga is a horror story

Short manga by Ito Junji, taking his typical horror aspects and artstyle and giving it a comedy spin, basically parodying his own works.

Junji Ito achieves comedy by portraying his regular life through the lenses of horror manga artist. Both of the manga feature cats.

Atypical comedies about cat owners and their cats. Both are seinen.

Similar focus on cats with an artstyle that focuses on facial expression and reactions, though more so with Ito's work. Yon & Mu is more of a slice-of-life that focuses explictly on cats, while Chion-san is a romance that prominently features cats.

Short autobiographical manga depicting the daily life of the author's pet - cat on one case and dog in other one.

Comedy manga depicting the life with domestic cats and well... cats being cats, as the cats do.

Seinen and slice of life stories about cats. Both mangakas portrayals of the cats are rather realistic and done in the old school way even if both do go separate ways storywise.
reportRecommended by RobdeFR
Both manga portray the relationship between a cat and it's owner. While Wagahai wa Neko de Aru is told from the view point of the cat, Ito Junji no Neko Nikki is told from the point of the owner. If you like cats, you might like these two works.
