Light novels about a high school male leads with cynical views on society (after all, at start Araragi followed a concept that having friends would decrease his intensity as human) meet other people (mostly girls) and starts to actually having friends/being a romantic interest of others. Both are comedies with some serious moments, but while Oregairu focuses on the romantic aspect, Monogatari Series focuses on the supernatural one. Also, Monogatari Series has some actual character developement that explain why an ex-loner has friends and relationships now.

If you'd take the setting of Koten-bu, that is a protagonist with unusual personality continously being confronted by various mysteries related mostly to people he goes to school with, and you add interesting writing style, well written characters and memorable plot points, you'll get Monogatari Series.

Both have main characters that entered into a contract with an female immortal that gave them strong healing powers. Consequently when dealing with weird monsters their fighting styles involve being torn to bloody pieces a lot.

If you enjoy Nisioisin's style of writing that is full of plot twists, meta commentary, unique characters and worldplay, you will certainly enjoy these novels.

Main character finds himself constantly in situations in which he sets on saving someone from supernatural danger, using supernatural means himself. Most of the characters in need of saving are girls and so a group of female admirers slowly builds around the protagonist. The novel still stays story oriented and doesn't get distracted by harem aspects much. Most of the story is happening within one city.

Both deal with a boy dealing with supernatural phenomenon caused by or dealing with. well, "unique" people from their surroundings. The interaction between the male and female MCs of both series is also a bit similar. Both male MCs have a some principles that they never sacrifice while trying to help their friends through the strange phenomenon.

(As multiple arcs are included in Monogatari Series: Fist Season entry, this reccomendation is mainly for the Kizumonogatari arc.) The protagonist is transformed into a half human-half monster (vampire/demon) thanks to an interraction with pure monster - regular vampire and regular demon, though in both cases the the monster is one of the most or even the most powerful monster of their kind. This transformation is done against his will forced by the circumstances and because they wanted to help someone. Both stories involve plot twists.

If you enjoy the avantguardish, dialogue heavy, unreliable narration style of NisiOisin's writing, featuring protagonist being surrounded by quirky people with unusual circumstances, these two are quite similar.

Colorful cast of high school students with supernatural abilities try to solve supernatural mystery/mysteries. Both series mix comedy and serious moments and slice of life elements with action elements.
