The main story in Merry Family Plan reminds me of the manga Complex. Complex tells us the story of a couple as time pass by, the problems they faced after starting a relationship and society issues. In Merry Family Plan too, we have the story of a couple as time pass by, the problems afterwards and so as questions we see in Complex too: "My partner used to be straight...", the pressure of parents for "the ideal family" or "where this relationship is going?".
