Manga: Bougyaku no Kokekko
If I had a dollar for each horror manga I've read where chickens played a big role, I'd have two dollars. Which isn't much, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Manga: Gyo: Ugomeku Bukimi
Sci-fi gruesome and at times absurd horror stories. Enjoyable if you like dark enviroments and grotesque criatures. Pretty disturbing art in both series.

Manga: Sanctuary
Both of them showcase the dirty, power-hungry world of politics. Sanctuary is completely a political thriller, while Fourteen involves many politicians working hard to keep their own power during crises. Both are must-reads!

Manga: Yakusoku no Neverland
Both can be said to tackle the theme of vegetarianism in an interesting way, as one portrays a situation where animals decide to leave the earth - abandoning the cruel humanity, and the other portrays a situation where humanity itself is put in the role of "animals" breeded for consumption.

Manga: Karakuri Circus
Both stories include lore-centric worlds with a new mystery around every corner, a collection of charming and menacing characters you can't help but root for, and absolutely batshit insane stories written by authors who were probably on crack. Karakuri Circus focuses largely on worldbuilding and crafting its secrets to be revealed hundreds of chapters away, while Fourteen goes full force into its madness from chapter 1. It's like an immovable object versus an unstoppable force, but if the object was an incel puppet master with a dog and the force was a Cambridge University professor with 12 PhDs and the head of a chicken. Manga: Jigokusei Remina
Written by horror mangakas, both share the motif of the world ending but portray it differently. Fourteen is like the extra, extra long version of Remina.

Manga: Mahou Shoujo of the End
Bizarre manga that starts with an interesting idea, and continues to develop this idea into a much grander plot that goes on to gradually change the scale to universal level as fate of the whole world comes into question.

Series of bizarre occurences and ideas that are stringed together to make a one of a kind saga. In both, the authors use their typical and iconic artstyle to further enhance the atmosphere.

Manga: Litchi☆Hikari Club
It's hard not to compare this horror titles once you've read both. These stories are very grotesque, bizarre and perfectly displays a lot of horror factors at once. Art in both mangas is as good as it's scary, and they represent a dark and enigmatic atmosphere very well. Importance is given not only to one character but actually a few. Fourteen is a long twenty volumes manga while Litchi Hikari consists of only one.

Manga: Dorohedoro
Great mangas in horror genre. Both are bizarre, full of mysteries and feature an ugly,filthy but good art. Main characters in these seires have a animal head (lizard head in Dorohedoro and chicken head in Fourteen). They are dark and have great world-construction. Stories centers not in only one character, but in diferent point-of-views about what is happening to the world.
