Manga: Copernicus no Kokyuu
While everything about these manga is different, right from their setting to their art styles, what is common between them is how dark and disturbing both are. They feature abuse, trauma and betrayal, and if you like reading BLs with dark themes, you'll like this rec.

Manga: Yakozen
They're both by the same author but as is similar with all Jaryuu Dokuro's work, the characters have reactions to romantic or intimate relationships that are realistic and relatable.

Manga: Angelic Conversation
Brilliant titles that employ a similar story-telling style where the protagonist recounts past events to another character. Drug use - and its painful consequence - are chronicled quite vividly. Finally, Bun and Ikki are quite similar in how they've grown from their experience, as well as being rather unconventional BL characters.

Manga: Shisei no Otoko
The art and plot are different, the setting and character's look too, but they give the same strange feeling when you read it. It isn't your fluffy BL, it has a strong plot and makes you think about life, how people are connected to each other and the way both shown those incredible dreams in those incredible panels. It isn't your average BL, it explores story, art, dialogues and each character's life. I must say: I love both of them. Maybe this is a risky recommendation, but if like one, you should try the other.
