Both feature self centered and warped magical girls, with plenty of violence and a dash of fanservice to keep your blood pumping!

They didn't necessarily ask to be a magical girl, or at least the position they occupy. Instead, they screw around and play with cliches, which makes it hilarious to read. Akogarete is about a magical girl who likes to do BDSM shit with her enemies (or maybe allies, question mark) and Machigatta is about a magical girl who likes to not care about anything and use overcheat(shitty) powers to beat her ennemies in the most simplest and stupidest way possible. So both the type of manga you read when you're exhausted from the usual formula of magical girl or even dark magical girl.

Both portrays twisted magicals girls and some extreme violence. There’s also some sexual themes and jokes, and the artwork is kind of similar.

In both, someone with personality that is completely unfit of being a "hero of justice" becomes a magical girl. In one case this gets a comical take, in other one it gets a psychological take.

Untraditional mahou shoujo series with violence, weirdo protagonist, comedy subtext and actualy great art to accompany the action scenes.
