Synopsis

When young artist Lou catches the eye of the devastatingly handsome Sein on the street one afternoon, he thinks his new patron simply wants to commission a portrait for his wall...but what secret flickers within Sein's piercing gaze? At the very moment that Lou draws closer to his brooding boss, an arrogant rogue named Adam crashes the party and pulls the curtain on Sein's blood-sucking identity. Hiroki Kusumoto set out to draw a vampire story and that’s exactly what she has done. The story focus is more on the vampire aspect than the boy’s love aspect and I applaud it for that. It would have been so easy for Kusumoto to have turned this into a no plot basic yaoi story with vampires just thrown in. The story lines aren't all that similar except both involve vampires and crazy ass "makers". Sein and Johnny and Lou reminds me of Chris. Vampire's Portrait is undoubtedly yaoi but Vassalord seems to only fall under the category. Both are just awesome
