Never Give Up! (Manga)

I was attracted by the handsome guy that was feature on the manga cover. When I discovered that it was the heroine of the story, I was so disappointed that I wanted to throw the book aside. Luckily for me, I was out of mangas to read and so I forced myself to read the first chapter. It surprised me with the twisted way the characters were presented. This is so unique compared to the shoujos I've been reading. It pulled me into the story so much that I couldn't wait to read the next volume! This story is able to show the contrast between how the characters look and what they really are like. The family setting is also one that's non-sterotype(unless you've been a reader of such genre). I like the way the characters are drawn as well. It may not be as detailed but it does bring out the beauty of each character. Overall, I would recommend it if you want something different. For those who are fans of ouran high school club and the likes, you shouldn't miss out this one. read more

I really like this manga even tho i haven't hade the time to read all of it.
To start with i loved how the character was present and how they where drawn. Off course i was confuse at the beginning(cos kiri really looked like a guy). But as i read the manga i got attract to it like a fly to light in the dark.
The story tells about high school girl kiri who looks like her death father. Her father was a famous male model. (she really looks hansom)
She's in love with her childhood friend Tohya Enishi. ( He really look beautiful)
however when she was younger she promise Tohya that she would one day become a princess so that she could be with him.
And with this promise or heroine goes on with her daily life hoping that she one day will changes herself and making that wish and promise come true.
However that won't be easy. Along the way Tohya accepted to become a male model for her mothers company.
To protect Tohya from Homosexual and other girls , Kiri somehow became a male model to.
Things becomes more complicated when another popular male model become interest in Kiri. Along with all her other problem like becoming a princess and hiding her identity from others. She is also order by her mother not to go near Tohya when she is kiri. which means she can't talk to him in school.
The way that the story continue and how Kiri try her best to solved her problem is Hilarius with Funny and embarrasses moment.
The story is outstanding and unique.
The art is very good. The character is charming. And the setting to it all was just good.
It's a must read for those who like romance, comedy,shoujo and gender bender manga. read more
