| Recently Vol 1 of the Regios Novel was translated. If you want a more faithful adaption of the novels, i recommend reading the manga Chrome Shelled Regios: Missing Mail. Plus you got to love it's romantic moments in the manga. |

| I noticed that Layfon is much more darker in Novel version and far less gay than what he was portrayed on Anime version (or was it because of his VA?). Overall, as always, Novel version is better, even on some fighting scene. |
| Novels were indeed great. I'm probably due for a re-read as it was pretty haphazard when they were being translated. I'm not even sure if I got back around to read the last two short story volumes that got finished after the last volume. |
| It's been awhile but I think it was somewhere around 5-6 volumes. But they were done so haphazardly that if you were going to read them you'd just start at the beginning. The anime is pretty much a mush of novel, manga and original stuff. |
