| Hey RCA's Member, Sorry about been late on this one <33. Anyways lets get to another week of it ^^ The Anime for this week is **drum roll** Date A Live http://myanimelist.net/anime.php?id=15583 Click on link for further information :) Basic plot of Date A Live!:); Itsuka Shido is a high school boy. On the last day of the spring holidays, an explosion destroys the town and a girl in armor appears in front of him. Shido's sister-in-law, Kotori, tells him that the girl is called "Special Disasterous Designated Creature: Spirit", which causes a timespace quake. Kotori disclosed that she is the commander of the anti-spirit organization Ratatosk and orders him to go out on a date with the spirit girl. Kotori says, "I don't ask you to beat the spirit. Just let her fall in love with you and save the world." The general concept of this thread is to generate interest in popular romantic comedy anime and help provide recommendations on anime that members have might not of watched. | ∙ Intro- amazing i loved the intro ∙ Summary/Story & rating on it-they new wat they were doing with the story so it gets a 9 ∙ Enjoyment + Rating- i feel they could have put more in it for the enjoyment but i still loved it 9 ∙ Characters & char development + Rating- each character was perfect so they get a 9 ∙ Artwork/Sound (optional) + Rating- the artwork and sound were great 9 ∙ Overall Rating- i feel they could have done more then they did and made this a perfect anime series they also could have done more with they characters as well but in overall it was a great anime i cant wait to see wat they do with the second season of date a live |
| ∙ Intro - N/A. I honestly didn't really pay attention. ∙ Summary/Story & rating on it - I count this as one of the more important ones and I thought the story started off promising, but quickly deteriorated. It honestly doesn't make much sense and it turned into a cheesy romance until it neared the conclusion. 5/10 ∙ Enjoyment - The whole dating gimmick was not enjoyable for me. The romance was much worse. I did really like action sequences and the spirits' fighting styles. The story got much better at the end, but it was a little too late. 6/10 ∙ Characters & char development - Watching Shidou work was like nails on a chalkboard. Not a Tohka fan, sorry guys. She felt too stereotype and her romance with the MC is farfetched. Origami was creeper status, I wish she would take a hint. Kotori's story is amazing. Kurumi, Yoshino, and Mana are interesting characters that didn't get much development. S2 maybe? 6/10 ∙ Artwork/Sound (optional) - The artwork seems pretty standard and I liked the action sequences. Sound was good as well. 8/10 ∙ Overall Rating 6/10 |
