| Recently, I realised that the Chinese fandom has often addressed Sugitan as 组长， which means leader. And upon googling, I realised it was because he was the leader figure to this group of seiyuus called 杉田组(Sugita Club/Sugita Group). This group is made of --Sugitan (ofc) --suzuki tatsuhisa --terashima takuma --Wataru Hatano --Mitsuhiro Ichiki And it's pretty much a group of seiyuu around Sugita's age who's close with him or something? So I was wondering whether this group exists in the Western Fandom? Or is this something that has just stayed in the Eastern/Asian fan side of the world? |
