I personally use C700, and am trying to work up to C750.
If the song's really slow I'll go down to C650.

There's no difference in using a multiplier for a speed modifier and a C modifier if the song's BPM doesn't change throughout the song.

That said, if the BPM does change, then using a C modifier is quite noobish. I like the speed changes in songs like Sakura, the Paranoia Survivors, etc. I have a simfile of Advent Children that has hundreds of subtle BPM changes throughout the song that drives me nuts when I play it.

i use C666

i find it really irritating having to change an X mod every time i want to play something with a really high or low bpm. try passing "the a la menth"(100 bpm) and then "no one wins"(313 bpm) with the same X mod, i dare you (those files aren't all that hard just very different bpm). C mods are for those who don't feel like changing they're settings around every few songs.

also i wounder how well you can do in my experiment here http://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=45741 with an X mod. (it has a 16th stream that slowly rises from 140 to 300 bpm)

c675 occasionally for sightread, c700 usually, c725 for MA files. Also xmod on 900bpm speedcore or The Games We Played... good luck with that guys. Save xmod for xmod files like Gang Probed, modselektor songs, Orange Dust files, and the like.

I'm using every speed, but bpm after multiplying must be near 600 (ex. song is 150 bpm so i use x4 multiplier), If song is too hard, i use C600 (rarely)

I always use C600, I don't know why but somehow I just like it. It's like if it's the perfect speed for me.

Been playing consistently enough so that C750 seems slow now. I tried C800 for the first time today, but wow was that fast.

Regarding the person above...you have some killer reflexes.

Usually it's about x4.5, but it depends on the song. Sometimes I'll use M899 or M912 on the keyboard, but if I need a constant it will be C900.

I prefer C650 but I could prolly move up to at least C675 now. Maybe I should copy kaiten and play on C666, hehu.

For xmod files, I usually just multiply the given bpm the nearest I can to the CMOD I use.
