After the switch to a new studio Miname-ke has lost it touch.

Okawari sucks compared to the original Minami-ke. And being that it's the sequel to such a good slice of life, it makes it even worse.

I don't hate the sequels, but I prefer the first season to the others. Number one reason I watch em is Hosaka. Minami-Ke needs moar Hosaka. Better yet, Hosaka needs his own spin-off series.

The sequels are awful. Even Hosaka doesn't have the same appeal.

Try and tell me that sequels to Minami-ke actually exist, you will get punched in the face.

Minami Ke original was great.. Then came Okawari, which was quite bleh. But Okaeri is going nicely so far and I am liking it.

Although the second season wasn't really good it wasn't terrible either but the third season is pretty good in my opinion (except for the annimation but it isn't terrible either).

animation aside, I feel like they're about the same.

I don't really dislike the sequels. I think they're pretty good like the first. Though the problem I get is that there's not much comedy in some episodes in the sequels. Still, you gotta admit Minami-ke is this friggin awesome no matter how bad the sequel can get...I think.

I like the sequels exept the animatoin or art got wierder.

The whole change of art style as well as the story telling changed after the first season. All the bright and cheery drawings became dark and dreary and for some reason the people in the background became blacked out silhouettes. It made the show feel distant and dark. Same goes with the writing. Everyone is oddly cold and that kid with the glasses they added really pisses me off.

I started this poll to express my dissapointment in the direction of the series and for the most part i see that people share my displeasure.

Okawari Really sucked both in the character design and story telling. Okaeri is comparatively better. Story telling is much more similar to the first season. Art is way way way better than Okawari but not as good as that of the original

but still i don't hate it...
minami-ke original is still the best of the 3...
