It has a pretty big spoiler for the beginning of season 2, but it makes a big deal out of it so I think the impact of it should hit just as hard. You can watch it after season 1, honestly.

This movie is basically a flashback of Goro's time between the end of season 1 and before season 2.

However, the beginning and the ending of the movie are events that occur AFTER season 4 (the first two minutes and the last two minutes before the credits). They are not flashbacks and are quite big spoilers if you haven't watched Season 4.

If you don't care about spoilers:
It is okay to watch after Season 1.

If you do care about major spoilers, but not minor spoilers:
Avoid watching until after Season 2, Episode 2.

If you do care about minor spoilers:
Avoid watching until Season 4

If you do care about all spoilers, but you want to watch it:
Make sure you skip the parts mentioned in the previous paragraph.

Just finished season one and I’d been following a guide that says to watch the movie after it, but just to be sure I made a research causa h8 spoilers even for an old show
