| Following the signs each person was directed through a maze of thoughts they couldn’t see where they were going but they could tell they had turned a few corners and walked for about 5 minutes but the darkness was about to end very soon. With their last step out of the dark shadows they were now blinded by the sudden bright light it wasn’t that the light was exactly stunningly bright it was just their eyes having to readjust all the sudden. With their eyes starting to readjust they could see the area they were standing in and it was massive the entire place was a giant coliseum the sort gladiators would have fought in to their deaths all for the amusement of the spectators only that there wasn’t any spectators or at least they couldn’t be seen anyway if they happened to be there. The structure of the coliseum looked old and yet it looked to have been kept in perfect condition however judging by the marks on various areas around it then the place had seen a considerable amount of combat...perhaps it was the area they used for training or perhaps many people had met their ends in these very walls. The worst part was that they were all alone and had become split up from their little group and so they didn’t know what the others were experiencing or even where they actually were. “The fall didn’t hurt you did it? I hope it didn’t...” The soft gentle voice seemed serious and kind as the woman’s voice gently floated over the air towards Raysha. The girl looked beautiful and it was probably a good job Raysha was a girl since if it was one of the boys they might have had a hard time focusing on the actual test! The girl standing before Raysha didn’t seem to mind showing off her body considering what she was wearing and yet instead of looking disgraceful it seemed to have an elegant look to it...maybe it was so she could use her body to distract boys or anybody else that would be taken in by her beauty. Either way this woman didn’t look anything like a person that could fight or that would be involved in anything bad...she looked like some sort of princess if anything. The coliseum itself looked fairly open in that behind the girl was a sort of open with various tunnels that could be used to hide in if needed. |
| The girl smiled while looking down at Raysha it seemed she wasn’t hurt and the girl was happy about that. Reaching down the girl held her hand out for Raysha helping her back up since it probably wasn’t very comfortable on the hard floor like that and she did say she hurt her butt...most people around here would say ass so that brought a little giggle from the girl. This person called Raysha seemed funny and nice perhaps they would become friends after all of this is done. “My name is Hana and I am the one that will be testing you. This is the training room I guess...or something like that I suppose.” Her voice seemed very soft and delicate only matched by that of her body...was she really somebody that could fight? Walking away slightly towards the centre of the room she had created some space between her and Raysha with her hair swaying lightly in the windy breeze. Looking at her hair and the rest of her appearance it was clear she took time to make herself look beautiful unlike most fighters that pride themselves solely on their strength she seemed to take pride in everything. Turning back around to face Raysha the girl held her hand out in front of her it was easy to tell she was about to do something so it was probably perhaps best to either prepare to defend or attack her...either way the test was about to start. “Since I was asked by Leo to test you I will be taking this seriously okay?” the way the girl spoke it seemed as if it was Leo who had arranged the opponents instead of it being Phoenix. Around the girls hand particles of some sort began to swirl slowly gathering well in fact it wasn’t that slow but it just seemed to be moving in slow motion. Once they had finished gathering in front of her palm they shot outwards towards Raysha and upon closer inspection she could see that the spike was made from ash only this ash was now dangerous and deadly, the spike being sharper than any other spike on a normal weapon and easily sharp enough to pierce through her flesh...the girl seemed to be a nin specialist which would probably suit her body more than Taijutsu but looks could always be deceiving... |
| ((it wasn’t heavy so blowing it back is fine :P)) With the spike coming straight back at her the girl blinked a few times, she hadn’t seen the girl move or use anything to actually block the spike and yet it was coming right back at her. It didn’t matter though seeing as the spike just broke apart as it passed right by Hana the particles swirling around her very body taking on the shape of several spikes. Her hand reaching up and running through her hair as she felt the wind brush right past her it seemed the girl used wind to block her attack, that might be annoying but it made things interesting...the girl was stronger than she thought. “A wind user? Wind ninjutsu or was that something else?” Hana asked in a rather curious tone... She wasn’t going to let up on the test even if she was talking, the spikes of ash flying right towards the girl like a wall of spikes threatening to pierce right through her, some of the ash that was swirling around the girl was also resting against the ground below her feet. It seemed that the girl could control the ash rather easily or at least this much use of her ability didn’t really take up much of her concentration therefore she had yet to get serious and this was merely a warm up for the real test that was to come. The spikes themselves were lighter than a kunai but were much sharper and more destructive...they would easily shred a humans body within seconds. |
| “Wind...that’s interesting...really interesting.” Hana spoke with her voice having not changed from its soft caring tone...only now hidden inside it was curiosity. The spikes of ask again broke apart as they neared Hana only this time they broke apart and formed a wall of sorts it was as hard as steel and heavy as well, the wind behind the attack split in half as it passed by Hana and away from her it seemed the ash could be pretty damn versatile and that the true battle was only about to begin. The ash began to swirl once more around Hana with the head of a dragon forming from the ash and if the wall was anything to go by then the properties of the ask could also be controlled by the girl...this dragoon would probably be as hard or perhaps even harder than the wall that she had only just used. “Wind barrier preventing my ash from getting through?” Hana asked while letting the dragons head brush against her cheek. The dragon looked to be alive the way it nestled against her cheek but if the rest of the ash was anything to go by then she was merely controlling it with her ability over ash but the skill she had must have been rather great if she could make it so life like in its interactions. The dragon also represented an increase in terms of power and skill with the first set of attacks merely being child’s play...while also serving as a nice distraction. From under Raysha several holes in the ground appeared with the ash rising from under her the several spikes wrapping around her legs as they spiralled up her body, the ask coming from underground was still linked to Hana it had been prepared before her last attack that was blocked with the barrier of wind. Hana was highly intelligent and if she couldn’t force her way past something she would think of ways around it...that is what made the versatility of her ash so dangerous. “ready? I’m sure you can probably still activate that barrier of yours though but let’s test it.” She spoke while pushing her hand forward causing the dragon that was probably twice the size of a man now spiralling towards Raysha. If it hit then it would be like a giant boulder smashing into her very body depending on the force of the impact it could go from hurting her to almost killing her, with the ash binding her to the ground the only thing she could probably use was her wind unless she had some other tricks up her sleeve that was. The scary part of all of this was that it seemed the girl was merely starting. |
| ((They weren’t meant to be bound ^^ but to use Taijutsu you need SP in the correct stats to use it correctly however I will let it slide this time ^_^)) The dragon crumbled under the brutal and relentless force of her attack but during its fall to the floor the dragon exploded in a cloud of ash covering the area and blocking the view for anybody trapped inside the giant ash cloud. It was during this time that the shuriken pierced through Hana exploding at the same time but no screams were heard at all instead the amount of ash had just increased with a secondary explosion from the ash clone. The explosion from the clone was no ordinary one though with hundreds upon hundreds of tiny but deadly piecing needles ripped through the ash cloud in all directions shredding anything in their path, the ash needles wouldn’t kill Raysha or they might if enough actually pierced through her but even if a few pierced her body it would still hurt like being shot by a bullet. “Breaking my pet? That’s cold Raysha.~” Several voices spoke in unison from different places inside the ash cloud they seemed playful yet dangerous at the same time... It was then that Hana came out of nothing no she came out of the very ash itself! Her arms wrapping gently around Raysha with her head resting on her shoulder but before Raysha could spin around or say anything Hana was gone once again sinking deep inside the ash cloud. Raysha could feel a sharp pain in her stomach area and as she looked down she would see a thin needle like dagger made from ash sticking inside her stomach, Hana had stabbed her during that brief moment it wasn’t instantly deadly but more of a slow death...it was a warning from Hana that things were getting more serious. Raysha probably had several minutes to live with the wound but her pain would be growing more and more with her movements decreasing the longer time went on and worst of all she was trapped inside the ash cloud. The outside of the ash cloud was hard like a box keeping the ash trapped inside and this was simply a counter measure that Hana had taken since Raysha could use wind and had already used it to blow the ash away several time...now there was no chance or very little that the wind would blow the ash away at all...she was trapped in the hellish storm of ash...her opponents battlefield and her life was slowly fading away...the true test had begun. |
| The wind did break the ash like dome or so it seemed before the ash simply rebounded back in place once again sealing the ash cloud inside blocking all sight completely now. The radar that Raysha used also picked up several different figures some was further way than the others while one of them was within a couple of feet of her. From the looks of it she was trapped inside this ash cloud that was thicker and darker than any hidden mist jutsu and it wasn’t going to lessen any time soon in fact it was probably only going to get more intense and worse for her...the bleeding from her stomach was also a problem with her dying becoming a serious possibility the more the fight dragged on... “You should look up at the monitors although I doubt you can actually see them. If you can you will see the Uchiha girl dying but you can still hear her screams...” Hana seemed much colder and more serious than she was before...yet also sad at the same time. Hana wasn’t a violent person it seemed but for the test she was willing to kill her emotions off like a true shinobi would. The figure closest to Raysha swung her arm out with the ash or part of it mimicking her actions it became a thin deadly blade with enough force to severe Raysha in half, there was no more holding back and Raysha could tell how serious the fight was. Her friend was being killed and she couldn’t do anything to save her and now she was also trapped with her life hanging in the balance...the blade of ash coming for her was fast she had less than a second to react...there was also several others hidden in the ash. This test was now a test of life and death...her every movement...jutsu and thought could cost Raysha her very life...one mistake and it was over for her. |
| “We have high hopes for you...so don’t let us down okay?” Hana sounded happy and yet serious all at the same time now it was time to see what Raysha could do with the pressure firmly on her... The idea of blowing the ash back was a good one although at the same time it also yelled out her location for Hana to find so easily not that it mattered much since inside the ash Hana could locate Raysha ever so easily anyway. The ash around Raysha began to move differently than it was before it was slowly spinning around at first it wouldn’t be really noticeable unless one was looking for it but soon it became apparent that Hana was doing something with ash and that it probably was bad news for Raysha. Slowly and gradually this battle was getting more intense with each passing second things were growing more serious, Raysha was getting closer to bleeding to death, she was getting close to be killed by Hana, the jutsu and attacks were growing in power and worst of all her friend or even friends were coming closer to death...pressure like never before was being pilled on more and more each second and soon the pressure on the mind would determine everything for Raysha. “Raysha if I said you had to pick between yourself and a friend would you do it?” Hana could be heard from deep inside the ash cloud although her voice was becoming drowned out by the growing noise... Noise? Now it really did become clear that the ash was up to something with the swirling noise being all too clear, Raysha had been trapped inside a tornado not of wind but of ash instead and it was swirling at some speed as well! The outside would probably tear anything to shreds if they came into contact with it and the inside well even though Raysha was on the inside and one might say the eye of the tornado where she was standing was the safest spot usually. This was no ordinary tornado and the eye was far from the safest spot if anything she was in the most dangerous of all places and instead of the eye it was better known as the dead zone of the zone of death with the name saying it all really. The ash swirling around Raysha was similar to that of millions and millions of tiny blades each with the intention to shred the poor girl into pieces, this was a tornado of death unless Raysha could somehow defend or escape the tornado that was...she had seconds or less to think of something knowing if she messed up she would be lucky to escape with severe injuries. |
| The power of the wind was immense and far stronger than Hana was expecting considering until now not many powerful area affecting jutsu had been used by either of them so it wasn’t hard to say she had been caught off guard by the jutsu Raysha used. The power of her wind had shattered through the hard flexible like structure on the outside of the ash mist like thing, with the outside barrier shattering from the unrelenting force of the wind the ash inside had been pushed all over the area swirling around like a tornado, parts of the columns had been sliced clean in two by the ash showing the more destructive side to it. The ground though now was covered in dense thick ash, the sort you would normally see after a volcano, it was a few feet thick but more importantly Hana was not on the ground or in fact anywhere near Raysha. “Then would you also save a stranger?” The voice of Hana came from above Raysha... She was high above Raysha all the way at the top of the coliseum with ash forming around her or perhaps it was some of the ash that had been blown away either way there was ash around her and it was growing at a steady rate! Soon within seconds the top of the coliseum would be covered in the thick ash and with the wind calming down it meant that it was time for Hana to respond in kind...Raysha had upped the game and so Hana could only respond in kind...it would be Hana clashing against the ferocious beauty of the sky. The ash itself was hovering almost waiting for the command to begin its attack a command that had just been given with the forward moving motion of the hand as Hana flicked it downwards pointing towards Raysha...a click of her fingers and the rain of death began. “Ash Storm...” she whispered softly, Hana never saw the point in yelling or screaming. The ash though listened to her every command and indeed a storm rained down upon Raysha, it was unrelenting as it swept everything in its path away. The solid thick columns made from stone as well as the stone walls were ripped and shredded by the ash storm, the small ash particles were like mini razor blades that held no emotion for anything or anybody in their path. Cutting through people would be nothing to them with the storm only growing in intensity the more time passed not only that but the sheer number of ash particles or ash blades as they were now were increasing as the violent bloody storm increased in size, swirling around with Raysha at the centre of the attack if she didn’t escape or do something fast then in the chaotic storm she would meet her end...death by a thousand cuts...more like death by countless cuts! |
| ((For the peacock jutsu you need the sword.)) Hana lifted her finger towards one of the many monitors and it wasn’t a pleasant sight at all as she could see Chikusa being pierced by the blade of Tenken and without a doubt she was going to die...she had failed her test which also had repercussions in the test for Raysha. “Your friend seems to have failed...sorry but it is time for me to become serious.” Hana said while sighing softly but her eyes had changed their softness slowly fading and instead being replaced by the eyes of a warrior...one that had taken lives of many many people. It wasn’t long before the ground began to shake no it was the entire coliseum but with Raysha closing in impressively considering she wasn’t the fastest person in the world or even good at close range combat...it was more like a suicidal move if anything. The ash around Hana had formed into a shield of sorts but with a point at the bottom facing towards Raysha with the shield gradually widening up it was created that way to spread the wind around Hana preventing it from cutting her or even touching her. The threat for Raysha was coming up from below her though with giant roots of ash forming all along the ground and underneath the ground it wasn’t long before trees of ash sprouted upwards filling the coliseum with branches of ash with the piercing power equal or even greater than that of the sharpest swords. “Ash forest.” Hana spoke while she now stood directly in front of Raysha her tone cold and merciless as she stared right into the eyes of the girl. Coming in close was a serious misjudgement on the part of Raysha it was a grave mistake and one that would cost her everything, she was already weak from the earlier stab wound and even at her best state she couldn’t match Hana in close range, she had no skill in weapons, no skill in Taijutsu, no strength or speed in fact she was the typical ninjutsu user...she would have been better staying at range but in combat there was no second chances! The hand of Hana clutched around the head of Raysha holding her still while at close range her ash could bind the hands of Raysha...it wasn’t long before one of the branches had extended upwards towards them both but it would only pierce the wind beauty known as Raysha and pierce it did, right through her stomach it was painful much more painful than anything she had felt before but it wasn’t done she could feel the ash branches and vines extending throughout her body...she was going to die but she would die even faster if she didn’t find a way off the branch...her hands sealed she would need to rely on something else. “Do you want to die? You can live if you give up your friend’s life you know.” Hana spoke while looking down towards Raysha...her tone offered some hope but it wasn’t a kind hope. Either she or her friend died and she held the power in the palm of her hand...she just had to pick. |
| The deadly blade of wind was met by the cold deathly touch of a familiar hand the grinding and clashing noise of the wind and his hand screeched through the area. His eyes bearing down directly at Raysha she hadn’t given up either just like the other girl didn’t and she would also give up her life if needed be even for strangers and that was a rare trait. Perhaps she was rough around the edges but she could easily become a wonderful diamond in the future but in any case the test had been decided and was now over! The blade of wind eventually died out and Raysha would recognise the boy as Leo the young one that had been with them since the start the one that had brought them all here in the first place. Looking down at the giant masses of ash Leo waved his hand towards Hana signalling that the fight was indeed over. “You have done well you may leave now Hana.” His voice was calm but powerful he was clearly in complete and total control of the situation. Hana though wasn’t very happy at the outcome the last attack made it look like she had been beaten and had to be saved! The ash below them was still growling and clearly to her this fight wasn’t over not until she had won and gained revenge for such a cheap shot. She was actually going against Leo for the first time she wasn’t going to do as she was told beside she had never seen him fight! Perhaps she could take him he was only a kid after all and thought he was above everybody due to being at the side of Phoenix all the time, which should be her place. Despite the oncoming ash Leo had yet to move instead he repeated the same words as before only this time his tone was deadly serious it had even caused Hana to shudder slightly but more than anything Raysha and only Raysha could see the aura around Leo expanding. Hana was too caught up in taking revenge to notice the cold aura oozing from Leo. With a smile Leo opened his eyes and looked down at Raysha. “Don’t worry I promised you would return home without any injuries.” Leo spoke while the ash around him shattered and crumbled... The ash seemed so fragile and powerless despite the rushing storm of deadly ash not one bit could even graze Leo with each bit shattering into nothing the same way that the boys clay had earlier...it wasn’t Phoenix that had done that but Leo? Or could they both do such things? Raysha had found herself sliding down the cold aura like dome that was expanding from Leo which banished all that was caught inside it yet she remained unharmed however the same could not be said for Hana. Hana was indeed very powerful perhaps several levels above Raysha but Leo seemed to be different he seemed to be in a different league all together...he didn’t even seem human! Hana realized this now that she was indeed no match for the young Leo, the rumours of his power being true he was indeed one of the Kings...it didn’t matter now though she had found out far too late her body was being broken down and shattering before her very eyes. First it was her hands and feet each part of her body shattering and crumbling until nothing remained. It was painful oh so very painful and yet she couldn’t scream the pain was beyond believe and yet she died slowly and silently. Leo was now standing down beside Raysha who was in a bloody mess herself yet he didn’t seem to worry so much instead his calming touch and voice was soothing more than anything... “trust me we never break our promises, okay?” those being the last words that Raysha heard before drifting off into a deep sleep...perhaps it was death...it was hard to say but the pain she had felt had drifted away along with all her worries instead she was calm floating along in the calm darkness.
